Are the club missing a bit of a trick here?

Last time I checked, we’d sold around 29,500 tickets, possibly more, so it’s obviously going to be a big crowd. But a family of four in the Family Stand would still be paying roughly £72.

With it being the first game of the season, and against Wrexham, why not try something like: buy a full-price adult ticket and get a child’s ticket for £1?

It looks like a great offer that helps fill the Family Stand and gets more people to spend money on food, drinks and merchandise once they’re inside. It might also encourage families to come back again.

Sometimes taking a little less on the ticket makes commercial sense if you’re earning more from the overall matchday spend.

My opinion formed from speaking to others about their experiences are two fold, to many parents in there forgetting they in the family stand and behaving like they at ninian park in the old days with little or nothing being done by the stewards. And the infighting of fans a so called pro tan tan out split a pro red group , do the wrong thing you get vilified by fans. There’s probably other reasons as well for a me a £1 for a kid is not the answer it would rightly in my opinion agitate loyal supporters who have forked out more for they season tickets.

This makes mo sense? If sold 29k tickets that equates to around 33k home fans take in walk up crowd.. basically full house do why make any offer that reduces income? Other games yes why not but definitely not this one

I bet our wonderful government/ council rail & bus services will offer nothing extra to facilitate the potential 30k crowd .

This makes me laugh, moan when the fans don’t turn up and moan when they do. All fans are welcome as far as I’m concerned.
You never know, they may come back.

Organisation was fine for the Chelsea and Lincoln games last season so I'm sure it won't be an issue for the club and local authorities.

I expect they'll shut Sloper Road after the game though.

I think he means that there will be no buses and trains after a certain time on a monday night

Generally only close sloper if theres away fans going to station ... not sure theres a train that late towards Wrexham
