Jack Moylan:

“I’m absolutely delighted to be here. It’s such a massive football club – in Ireland growing up, you watch Cardiff City as a Premier League club, so I’m absolutely over the moon to be here.”

“There were a lot of factors. It’s such a big Club, such a nice city, and Brian [Barry-Murphy] has such a good reputation. The way he plays football, I think I’ll really enjoy it. I’ve watched the team a lot over the last year, and watched last weekend against Roma, and the football speaks for itself.”

“Last year I played a lot in the ten and off the left for Lincoln - I naturally drift to that side. I think the shape here will really suit me, because it’s a footballing team who like to be versatile. When you’re playing with such a good team, surrounded by players who are on the same wavelength as you, it’s going to be really enjoyable.”

Welcome to Cardiff City, Jack!

On the Lincoln forum not one poster said anything negative about him, which is truly remarkable in this day and age. Without doubt the most decent and respectful messageboard I have ever visited. The complete opposite of Stoke's, which is like a bear pit by comparison.

Great that they've only got good things to say about him. Think he's gonna fit in really well here and us fans will love his work rate and attacking intent.

I'm thinking he perhaps wasn't our first choice target for whichever position he's gonna play in though (no.10 or wide left). Just coz he's been signed quite late and has missed pre-season. No1 has mentioned any delays or that they are 'glad its finally got over the line'. It seems like quite a straightforward signing so maybe we missed out on someone beforehand. The Norwegian guy possibly or someone no1 knew about??? Just guessing like...but really glad he's here either way.

He's a good player. Take a look at his goals in one of the posts below. A good finisher for an attacking midfielder, he'll get double figures here.

They were good as gold last season too. Good bunch down there. I hope they are able to stay up (not at our expense mind!!). Good club who more than earned their promotion.
