It certainly looks like it will be an impressive addition to that stadium, but looking at this images, there is little room to expand other than behind that one goal?

It’s not often I raise the ‘Jacks’ profile, but this will still leave them as Wales (just) third largest club; both some way behind their capital club

There are large car parks behind two other stands and a student accomodation block that they could easily incorporate into any expansion and offer pitch view rooms in a hotel.

Doubt they will need much more than 20k though unless they are bussing in from around the world.

The stand is a corporate stand lots of complaints that fans will be left out in rain without cover lower down

They will never ever be a massive club, to be honest I dislike them as I know their fan base really will desert beyond once they start going down hill.

Just like our fans really, I've done many a 400 mile round trip on a Tuesday night to be amongst a sub 2k crowd. Folk are funny!

Yes we have fans like that, but Wrexhams majority fan base is like that and really are Everton. Liverpool and United fans.

Does seem a long way behind the goal.

Have you read that 'Engineering Archie' book by Simon Inglis? - a great read if you are a football ground anorak.

Still don't understand how they've managed to make it cost them £70m.

You may find that they've incorporated media space studios and guest stuff for their Hollywood FC project.

It actually doesn't look like a football stand? Coperarate boxes at back terraces at front but don't appear to be connected...
Sure it will come together at end?

They'll build the lower end of the terrace later. At the moment its their working room and platform for the cranes. Once they get the main structure up they'll get on with it fairly quickly as it will probably give them some ' temporary ' seating while they fit it out.

Its where we're heading with construction costs unfortunately. Long gone are the days of the stadium of light for 17 million or our extended stadium for 40 million. The extension to the Anfield Road end cost 80 million for a similar number of seats as Wrexham's new stand. The bigger problem for the country is how the shit do we currently maintain even what we've got. If the First Severn crossing develops a major structural problem tomorrow it will probably shut for good. The Severn Tunnel must becoming to the end of its life - god knows what that would cost to replace. London has at least 3 bridges shut with no sign of replacement. The hammersmith Bridge will see its life out as a pedestrian bridge with no plans to repair or replace it.

Published by English Heritage - bit pricey but worth it.

Gathered that but the elevation of terracing looks very low considering it will have seats? It's also not
Covered particular well hence fans not particular happy (those that use to be there before development.)
