It was Roma’s 2nd pre - season friendly but you can’t take it away from Cardiff as they played excellent and some good quality football.







FIRST-HALF: CARDIFF WERE SUPERB GOING FORWARD & DESERVED THEIR LEAD:



3mins CianAshford! Not sure he knew much about it, but Cian diverts Ollie Tanner’s cross into the net! 1-0

Roma lost a player through a bad injury.

Cardiff were by far the better team.


29mins Yousef! Brilliant pressure from Salech in closing down Svilar! His clearance bounces back off the City striker and straight into the net! Two up! (2-0)

Thought we pressed very high and looked much fitter than roma , great performance,

Agree with most you say but not sure Ng would have been sent off. Penalty awarded so would it have just been yellow. Grey area of the law

Yes totally agree Annis. I thought Tanner had a great game today also.

Well done Cardiff ,thought Roma were poor to be honest.Dont know much about about them but was that strongish side.

Watched the game via Portuguese channel Sport TV 2.

Great result too....

Plus we saw new players like Ellie King... Olay Tenner....Ezak Davey and last but not least... Runna Cackio..

Just got home,

we dominated that game apart from 5/10 mins when they missed there penalty,
osho my man of the match and Ashford a close 2nd great fitness performance,
but we are desperate for fresh faces as soon as.
