The problem i spoke of earlier as started? Checks already said deal looks good with the money made available ! That's problem can enough uefa countries old out and side with uefa i doubt it unless they come in with a financial plan to help smaller nations. ... the main problem with fifas plan is when you involve private investors they want they're moneys worth and can see allsorts of attempts to expand WC besides number countries it will be 2yr cycle back on table larger club WC and more frequent I'm sure there' are other things that can be messed with to make more money... hopefully status quo will remain but trade off would be 64 team WC

I think the big UEFA countries can hold out, UEFA makes about double what FIFA generates and if they have a solid plan, can easily make more money to keep everyone sweet

Think the threat maybe enough to disuade infantino to drop the idea? But there is still trouble ahead for fifa/uefa on the 2030 WC and the dates it can be played on after its been enlarged to 64 teams

That will be a test of mettle for those countries, including Wales, Ned!
I hope they give Infantino (the proverbial) bloody nose, but overall I can’t see it happening in this money-craved environment
Another reason the USA-based ‘Soccer World Cup’ should not have happened

He only needs 50% of nations to approve it so I would think this will unfortunately go through. He'll have the support of African, South American, Asian, North American and especially poorer nations. Some of them are very loyal to him anyway.
Big test is for how UEFA respond and how many UEFA countries back Infantino's plan. Czech FA have already signalled they will back it.
