Chris Willock scored a Hatrick today:

"It was a good team performance," Chris began. "We played well. A lot of things that we train happened today. Lots of players got minutes in their legs too.

"Pre-season has been really good. We enjoy it as a team. We do a lot of ball work, which helps.

"We work hard; we train hard. It's about building discipline throughout the team, as Brian says, and we're doing that."

Chris Willock celebrates his goals against Forest Green Rovers.
While it was an impressive showing from Chris and his teammates today, the winger stressed that the hard work continues.

He added: "We've got a long way to go. We're a team that wants to be on the front foot and wants to press.

"I'm buzzing that we're back in the Championship. The Club deserves it.

"I want to show my form in the Championship. I'm going to keep working hard. I'm looking forward to it."

I really want this guy to do well this season. He was excellent at times in league 1, sometimes unplayable. Lacks a bit of pace but the undoubted talent is there.

I completely dismissed him after we were relegated coz he was 1 of the players that let us down badly, he just gave up, didn't show any fight, didn't even seem to care. Reminded me a little like Murphy...but hopefully that bad attitude and unprofessionalism is behind him under BBM.

Come on Chris, show us all what you're made of!!!

Looking back at this stage last season, many fans including myself wanted him out as he didn't seem to be 'pulling his weight'
He currently looks a different player and certainly to be named in the starting eleven.

He is proven in the Championship, looks what he did at QPR.

I do agree with others that it's about his desire. If he wants to perform then he can.

Cut in onto his right, shoot high and wide for the majority of his possession.

I think we need better at this stage, and I think a move to L1 is about right.

Been ok for us when others have been way worse to be fair. I just hope he's not planA.
