They got what they deserved in the end. England stopped playing football with 30 minutes left & that's what happens when you do that & have 12% possession for almost the whole last 30 minutes.

Some will gloat, but what an incredible shame for England, who had it in their own hands!

Argentina owned the last 30 minutes, though; and Messi showed why he is (arguably) the GOAT!

England will rue not staying on top once they went ahead, and now they have the ignominy of playing in the pointless 3rd/4th play-off!

Will be a great World Cup Final, though; and I have no preference who wins now!

I went for Spain before it started & I haven't seen anything to make me change my mind. Spain won't sit back like that if they take the lead.

Those play-off games are always a bit weird because nobody wants to play the game obviously.

If I were Deschamps and Tuchel, I'd just give the players that haven't played much in this tournament a game. Clubs won't thank them if a top player gets injured and misses the start of the season.

If I read it right, what’s just occurred in Gibraltar is part of Brexit, I.e. securing the Schengen Area for Spain, so largely our fault (if it is a fault) fir leaving the EU

France were the best team in the tournament, but Spain kept the ball and didn't allow France to play, so well done Spain.
