I have tried sticking to the topic budd.

Tan/the Club sold the proceeds of the case to a third party. It was reported in our latest set of accounts.

So it’s likely being driven by this third party who now owns all of, or a % of, any potential windfall. They wouldn’t buy it without having some influence on how the claim is to be handled.

So if this case is going to drag on for another 2 years that means we’re stuck with tan until this case is resolved am I right in thinking that

Not necessarily, and the bit about ‘selling off’ the proceeds of the case are a timely reminder that this is not directly an issue for the club itself at this stage?
