Didn't see the game today so those that did, what was the pitch like?
Only ask because there was rugby last weekend and the European game in midweek for Penybont.
(FYI, nobody can blame the pitch for the friendly result because it obviously didn't cause Midtjylland any issues).

The pitch is shocking at the moment. Strange bounces , players slipping and the grass needed a cut by the looks. However cutting grass in hot weather can cause issues to the grass itself.

The pitch was mint today. We were awful. The only impact of the rugby was the reminants of the line markings.

‘The pitch was shocking’
‘The pitch was mint’
It can’t be both
I’ve absolutely no doubt that by our first game of the season the pitch will be in its usual immaculate state.

Doesn't matter, it's the same for both, and if anything, a shit pitch helps the worst team, so be grateful if the pitch really is that bad.
If it is shit and they still scored six, that's even worse.
I think BBM wanted to shock them back into reality and get them to knuckle right down, he gave them a big fright and reality check.

I did say in my original post that I'm not blaming it for the result.
I just have concerns that after the rugby, it will have a damaging effect on the pitch. One thing that has always been brilliant at CCS is the quality of our pitch, don't want that to change.

True, it probably won't be at its absolute best, but we have good ground staff, and they will have it in top condition for the first game as usual.
