Very highly rated. Wouldn't be surprised if he plays regularly for the U21s even at 16.

Only reason we are getting him is BBM.

The club finally have a recruitment strategy and youth is the way forward. Very exciting. I will be very interested to see who we sign on loan this year.

Plenty of time, it's only 1st July. Players like this will be on low wages so won't impact the first team business.

I've always said I want five players to improve the team. It will always be quality over quantity.

These are kind players we need if we are going to bring youngsters on at later date! Transfer window dhould start yo pick up now as July approaches don't see much activity in Transfer market at moment? Bbm says wants at least 4 good players we have to trust he'll get them plus extras but in his time not fans? :o

One for the future but that's Exactly my thinking but you'll always get the "it's only this date or that date loads of time left" posters even if there's three days left in a window but it will probably be the last week or two of the window left and then it takes them 4 to 5 weeks to get fit so hardly see them starting. That's what we usually get in most cases. Although we need a minimum of five better players in my opinion to even compete in the championship. :bluescarf:

Highly rated, yet Man City didn't retain him.
Only time will tell.

No, to be honest! I was just joining in on the frivolity of a positive signing being turned into another ‘why haven’t we signed first team players?’ thread :laughing6:

I’ve read up on the boy, and he shows great promise in the midfield, and many are surprised he has been released by Man City, so we are lucky to have him for BBM to work his magic :ayatollah:

Not sure if Blakey's song would be correct enough these days, but if it still is.

He's white, he's lean, no need to rob the cash machine, cass Machin, Cas Machin

I got it Chris but many wouldn’t!

The usual - ‘Oh we’ve signed a 16yr old but that’s crap, we need a centre forward’
As if it’s either or.

We know who they are!

It is! Not sure how we would adapt the lyrics though! Still, as he is only 16, we have time to work on that lol.

Go to a cash machine to get a ticket home
A message on the screen says "don't make plans, you're broke"
No, no, this can't be right
I know that times is tight
I've only just been paid, three weeks, five days till I'm seen
Right...
No...

[Chorus]
I scratch a living, it ain't easy
You know it's a drag
I'm always paying, never make it
But you can't look back
I wonder if I'll ever get to where I want to be
Better believe it
I'm working for a cash machine

[Verse 2]
I try to phone a friend
My credit's in the red
I try to skip the fare
Ticket inspector's there
No, no, this can't be right
I live an honest life
It seems like sometimes
You don't cross the line, you don't get
By...
No...

[Chorus]
I scratch a living, it ain't easy
You know it's a drag
I'm always paying, never make it
But you can't look back
I wonder if I'll ever get to where I want to be
Better believe it
Yeah

[Verse 3]
What am I gonna do?
My girlfriend's test turned blue
We tried to play it safe
That night we could not wait
No, no, this can't be right
She said it would be alright
I can't afford to be a daddy, so I leave
Tonight...
No...

[Chorus]
I scratch a living, it ain't easy
You know it's a drag
I'm always paying, never make it
But you can't look back
I wonder if I'll ever get to where I want to be
Better believe it
I'm working for a cash machine

Nope thems the original copy and pasted lyrics Monty - what I was looking for is for some genius to come up with a shortened, more relevant set of lyrics to fit to the song, maybe just the chorus but I'm not worrying too much at the momemnt as he is 16 and if he does go on to play for the senior side, we will worry about it then lol

No confirmation from the club of the signing?

Theres confirmation from Cass's agent though (I think it was agent)

Katsukunya was announced by the club but I know he would go into our u21 and not u18. Maybe u18 and below dont get much reporting
