1927 , coming up 100 year

Sat Jul 04, 2026 12:44 pm

It’s just struck me it’ll be 100 years this coming season since the clubs finest hour. I wonder if the club will do anything. A related third kit or something would be appropriate in my opinion.

Can’t help but think the last 2 cup finals were my last chances to witness and glory with the club . Only 46 but can’t see us doing anything under this ownership

I hope the club do something!

Re the cup finals, I would just say that until Sam arrived, we looked stagnant and rudderless in any real terms, but that changed to the delight of those few of us who stayed loyal to the club, and we saw some great times, including 4 x Wembley appearances, 2 x promotions to the Premier League, and some memorable ‘giant killing’ acts, the best of which was that Leeds United game in the FA Cup!

We are Bluebirds; we always live in hope! :bluebird: :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

They have previous with this.

Remember the last game at Ninian Park? Absolute embarrassment.

How about the 125th Anniversary? A shit pin badge and relegation to League 1

I'd rather they didn't bother than make their usual botch job to be honest.

Don't wish to be pedantic but five visits to Wembley - FA Cup semi final and Final, League Cup Final, Play off final and Spurs away in the Premier League when their ground was being redeveloped.

Yeah, I share that sentiment tbh. That last game at Ninian was pathetic. It always amazes me every season they fail to give the fan bricks a bit of a jet wash too. Been covered in dirt and moss for years.

Yes, it is pretty bad but If I'm down in Cardiff midweek I take my own cleaning stuff down to CCS and clean my own Brick but agree the club could do a lot more things for us fans. :bluebird: :bluescarf:

Forgot about the Spurs one!

They were good times, and will live in the memories of those of us lucky enough to have been there (win, lose, or draw) :ayatollah:
