He does seem to be picking up injuries here and there

Picked up an injury could mean he twisted his ankle walking off the pitch. There's no need to worry about it unless he's still injured at the start of the season.

Rubin was the same when he was younger, growth injuries can happen at that age.

He had a bang to the knee during the Ghana game just an impact injury nothing serious but no point risking him for a meaningless friendly tomorrow

I love watching Dylan Lawlor playing for Cardiff but I can't help noticing that he does pick up small injuries rather frequently.
Perhaps this problem will disappear as he matures as a player and gets stronger.
But I'd prefer to see a settled back four, especially a centre back partnership during next season, whether it's with or without him in the team.
If we are offered a good fee for him from a bigger club and can use the money to strengthen our squad by two or three players with the proceeds, I wouldn't be too disappointed!
