Cardiff City set to sign Man City midfielder

Cardiff City are set to sign 16 year-old midfielder Cass Machin from Manchester City.

Machin has been with City since U9 level and played for the U16s this season.

Cardiff have offered him a scholarship and a professional contract.

The young midfielder will join Cardiff’s U18 side from next season.

An amazing addition to their academy.

You just feel BBM is building for the future as well as next season Burnley got no chance.

This has to be our way forward and future .

We've done precisely what clubs like man c do take under 16s usually earlier put them into a scholarship get them through academy to 1st team (hopefully) then they either make it to 1st team
or get sold on! Definitely bbm trick from days at man c... at moment Club on the rise ... always said from early days of bbm city get back to back promotion this reinforce my belief

Usually teams take them bit older and put them into 1st team squad but we are taking the long view which makes more sense as not taking up 1st team squad place...... think it also shows bbm at least as got a plan hopefully the hyrachy have bought into the plan.
