One way or the other he's done. Andy Burnham has just announced he'll seek to be the candidate in Makerfield. So here are the three scenarios:

- Andy wins in Makerfield and challenges Starmer for the leadership. Andy wins that with ease.

- Starmer and the NEC block Andy from running. Political suicide which would just see an immediate leadership election with another candidate winning.

- Andy allowed to run but loses the by election. Same end result as the second scenario.

Andy is now odds on favourite to be the next Prime Minister.

Should point out that I know Andy have been part of many of his campaigns, so I'm not an impartial judge in this.

Most aerial shots of the UTK march concentrated on the front section , when it panned back, it looked like 100,000 at least.
