I think people are maybe missing what our style of play is. If we think back to earlier in the year when salech was fit we would pass the ball and move teams around. Our passing allowed us to get into great wide positions and tanner/ ashford/willock/ kellyman would create half a yard and cross or take the man to the byline and cut back or the full backs would over/under lap and get to the line and cut back/cross. What happened when salech got injured is we stopped crossing as much so teams realised that if they sat really deep we would just play in front of them and have to do something incredible to score.

With salech in the team sides can’t sit back so much as we will just keep putting balls in and eventually something will come (like last night). They also are afraid to step out and challenge us as we may go round or through them. It means teams don’t know what to do as much when we are in those wide positions and around the box. I think we’ve done well to win as many games as we have without him but could do with some good competition for him next year

It suits us when the opposition sit back and let us tippy tappy around and eventually score after 15 shots. When they have a go at us like last night, Plymouth ect we struggle. Championship sides will have a go so we need new blood and a plan b
