he hardly got involved ,he knows he is out the door if we are promoted just wondering if he has upset the dressing room again he did a while back ,it's a shame as when he had a run he was on fire but whether kellyman upfront has pushed his nose out of joint I don' t know ,
I thought about starting him today to give him confidence that he had the game ahead of him rather than the last 20 mins or so.

It is a bit sad though, because he's had some great moments for us.

It's no wonder he feels dejected.
In addition, he knows he will be moved on in the summer and must be wondering what the future has in store for him.
I just wish supporters would ease back on any criticism towards him as it can't be helping.
He's only offered a few minutes on the pitch each match after all.

The problem is who is going to take him,?? Is he not on big wages with us and how long is left on his contract.??

I wouldn’t mind feeling dejected on £20K a week. That said, I could always look for another club willing to pay similar or possibly lower my wage expectations.

Obviously he is on a great salary and has earned a shed-load over the years.
But I'm sure he also has pride.

So what? Every footballer gets to a point where they can't do what they could do before, that's the reality of being a footballer.
We're not a charity and the manager can't say "I know he's not good enough, but let's give Robinson a game because he's feeling a bit low."

You misunderstand my point.
I agree we are not a charity and the manager is probably correct just to use him as a 'bench warmer' this season.
(Although, he has scored a few goals doing just that in the minimal minutes given on the pitch)
I'm simply suggesting supporters should get off his back and perhaps he has reason to feel dejected.

We needed someone to lead the line, but he wants to drop deep, even though he has never been back to goal forward, he was a run the inside channel guy, but can't anymore. And if you are relying on Rubin to do your running, then you are well and truly knackered.
Football is a young man's game. It's going to cost us to move him and Chambers on.
