Who would you offer a new contract?
I personally would offer all three a 2 year contract.
They have all had an excellent season and will be needed in the Championship under BBM.

It's going to be hard to let good players like Wintle go, but I think I agree, we will need a few upgraded players in.

I'd keep all 3 AND look for better. They are all quality. We need quality and replacing them would a) be hard to do b) expensive to do c) upset the balance of a cohesive squad which understands how BBM wants to play. d) we need a squad not a starting 11..they are great in this squad.

What is better for squad cohesion is to sign guys that will push them and make BBM play them but know they have quality snapping at their heels.

Leave it to BBM if he thinks they are good enough that's all that matters in BBM I TRUST!!

I think we’d need a better left back than Bagan in the championship but it depends on wage and length of contract offfered I suppose. Wouldn’t be upset if he was offered one though.

I think the Bagan this season has massively improved from what we've seen from him before.

Both defensive and attacking outputs have gone up from him. His chances created are a clear sign of that.

Accept it's at a level below but think he's a different player now.

I'd keep all 3 i think judging any players based on last season would be wrong because no one looked quality last season under riza except maybe salech when he came in

I think the question to ask is what would it cost to replace them?

Granted, it’s league one level but all three are performing very well at league one level. Ng has done it before at championship level and the other two haven’t been part of a team doing so well consistently but know the BBM style inside out and have earned a chance to play at a higher level.

Ng has proven he can play at the next level so it's a no brainer. Wintle has had a great season. I'm of the opinion that in this system he can play the role at a much higher level.

Bagan also a fantastic year he's the one I'm most concerned about but has improved vastly so he certainly deserves a new deal

I suppose it comes down to the standard of the player BBM would want instead, and the budget. NG and Bagan seem to be on everyone's best eleven teams.

Me too, they have been a big part of this massive reset we've witnessed so can't let them go.

We have a young side, we will need wintles experience in the Champ.

To say he didn't cut it in the champ is harsh, especially when he's improved under BBM.

If we are getting rid of players who didn't cut it in the champ the last few years, then we are in big trouble.

It took a very special kind of divot to play Wintle as an 8, and even worse, a 10. Easily a championship 6 in this system. I don't think Robertson is physical enough when compared to Wintle in that role in terms of sheer strength or speed; he is perfect for the top of the pivot.

Bagan will not be a guaranteed starter in the championship; he is too indecisive, he has his moments but safe as houses, (too safe)

NG has refound his mojo, he is a turnover machine, and the forces it a bit, again, similar to Bagan has his moments and sound


I would be very surprised if all 3 did not sign new deals the day after promotion was guaranteed.

All three deserve a contract.
Perhaps Ng and Bagan should be offered a two or three year contract, but I'm not sure we should offer Wintle more than one year.
Wintle will be amongst the candidates for player of the season and it would be rather harsh to reject him if we are promoted.
He is a more experienced player now, playing with better players around him at Cardiff and I think he could still do a job in the Championship.
However, without doubt, we will need to strengthen the squad with better quality in the Championship.

Certainly needed as squad players. Cant even mention starters for championship until players in/out etc
