He’s seems like a pretty loyal bloke though so as long as we look after him and match his ambitions hopefully he’ll stay. From what he says it seems like he’s in it for the longer term

He's enjoying working with these players and they're now used to his style after six months, which is why we're now improving a lot.
As long as the bulk of them stay, so will he I think.
Two years left on his contract at the end of the season but wouldn't be surprised if that's extended if we go up.

Very humble, always compliments the opposition, tells it like it is when it comes to our players but always in a positive way.
The guy is a fantastic ambassador for our club.
When you compare him to Wiltshire and Challinor it’s like chalk and cheese, the comments those two make are embarrassing.
Were lucky to have him

It seems like the perfect match, the right Manager at the right club, with the perfect set of youngsters and a few older pros, and a fanbase all looking to improve and progress as one.

Andrew, Brian Barry-Murphy signed a three-year contract as Head Coach of Cardiff City, on June 16, 2025. His deal runs until the summer of 2028.
I honestly believe he feels he has an exciting project here at the CCS and will want to see it out, so long as he feels supported
The guy has performed a minor miracle with some exceptional but largely untested talent
The players love him, the supporters love him, the media love him, and I find it hard to believe the obvious one isn’t impressed by the turnaround in fortunes, too!

I agree Chris.
I also think that next season (in the championship!) he’s not going to ask for a ridiculous war chest off VT as he will want the ‘right’ players to fit into his system rather than big name players that he’ll need to ‘fit in somewhere’. He’ll obviously need some ££ though In the championship he’ll have access to a wider loan market.
I hope that Tan basically gives him what he wants.
