Young lad probably not ready to move abroad and learn a different language. Or just after a better chance at guaranteed first team football

44 miles from Salford to Rotherham. Makes sense

Less competition at Rotherham but I'm disappointed we didn't step in on this one. Seemed a
no-brainer for a player who would have settled immediately and knows where the goal is

I'm as disappointed as you but just maybe he didn't fancy coming here either. I have no doubt that the pressure on him here would have been immense with his whole family being local & just like he turned down the La Liga move he turned us down, it would make sense when you look at it from a different angle.

Probably reading too much into it, but BBM did say in his last interview that he’s had to be honest with potential loan players about their chances of game time. Maybe Rotherham could offer what we couldn’t, less competition and a clearer path into the team. He seems like a really switched-on lad, so he probably knows he needs something close to guaranteed minutes.
Clearly LB and slightly less GK was the priority but I'd still have liked something to freshen up our attacking players especially with the amount of business other clubs have done around us.

Maybe BBM thinks he's shite?
If we were in competition with Rotherham United - he'd be with us.

Man U would want him to play if he’s going out on loan.. he may well go straight into the team with them, I don’t think that would happen with us.

Rotherham United are delighted to confirm the loan signing of Manchester United forward Gabriele Biancheri, who joins the club in a temporary deal until the end of the season, subject to Premier League, EFL and FA ratification.
The Cardiff-born forward began his career with his hometown club and current League One table-toppers Cardiff City before he shot up through the ranks in the Welsh capital.
His early promise was so great that he was picked up by Premier League giants Manchester United in February 2023, aged just 16.
A regular for the Red Devils at both Under-18 and Under-21 levels last season, Biancheri netted 15 goals in 36 league appearances and played an integral role in United’s FA Youth Cup side which reached the 2024/25 FA Youth Cup semi-finals - with his own contribution extending as far as a Third Round hat-trick against Coventry City.

We was never even in for him probably despite the shit that gets spouted online saying he's coming just because he was home at Christmas time like most footballer's are and went to watch game at ours with his family, afterall there Cardiff fans . That's how mental online garage has become. Although BBM didn't want a another striker or anyone else for that matter for the first team except a left back if you go off the he's been backed and wants a small squad only fans

Is he any better than Herbie?
