Gathering opinions

Thu Jan 29, 2026 3:51 pm

As the window closing fast approaches I feel we’re not getting anybody in the door and feel the board and Tan have failed to back BBM this window.

New Window, same outcome.

Seeing as our next home game is Luon on February 14th I was thinking of a sit in after the game.

How it would work.

Around the 80th minute the stewards depart their posts and head to pitchside or outside, we can start to slowly filter across to the grandstand and fill a block or two near the Directors Box and sit in peacefully with chants for approximately 1 hour after the game ends.

We’ve tried the marches and nothing seems to get through to the board.

It’s just a thought but want to gauge other people’s interest to show our displeasure

Sadly if we was 18th this would be a weekly thing but because we are not it's not going to come to fruit in many numbers if it did happen, that's how the fan base are in today's football world. It's a proven fact when things are not good on the pitch there out in force and anything else is swept under the carpet irrelevant what going on. Although if we don't go up watch them turn quicker than Usane bolt and even if we do and don't do well in the championship despite what gets signed I think we will struggle and then the protests start again.

Unfortunately we have a very fikle fan base these days who only want to moan about things during the rough times

Whilst we sit top of the league winning games the majority couldn't care less

We should always be trying to force the dictator from our club no matter the on field circumstances

Sadly the days of us storming board rooms is long gone the intimidation factor cardiff fans used to hold is now a distant memory

For me mate we’ve got no chance with the fan base especially sitting top of the league, fans didn’t even protest the red kit until we were in the bottom 3 in prem didn’t bother before that,it’s just the modern day fan if we do well on the pitch most fans forget how we’re run and stuff it’s a joke,we’re a shambles of a fanbase tbh,I can’t see no other way for Cardiff to move forward then tan going

Or, alternatively, the support base in the main, appreciate the job BBM has done this season, and are glad of the respite from the seemingly endless Tan saga?

The last ‘demo’ when we were in deep trouble last year was fair enough, but maybe the timing is a little off doing the same or similar this season, when the team are riding the crest of a wave, Tan et al are staying schtum for once, and the supporters need to be visibly behind the team?

Just an alternative thought, and maybe the real test will be this summer, when (assuming) promotion is achieved, the owner will have some rather big decisions to make, whether he stays or (hopefully) goes! :ayatollah:

I think everybody appreciates the job bbm is doing

The worry for me is we will never kick on to the next level whilst tan is our owner

People either want him here or they don't, how we're doing on the pitch shouldn't matter, I could pretty much guarantee if we fail to go up this season the tan out agenda will be back in full force

Funny that, isn't it. The rate of protests, mentions of Dalman and Choo, who our assistant manager and coaches are, Darren Purse etc....all go away when top of a league.

I voted no. For the first window in about 10, we dont really need anyone. LB and a few others would be nice; but not dramatic if we dont. We're in a good shape.
