That will do for now.
The De Bruyne who no longer plays for Man City?
Or the Grealish that also doesn’t play for Man City right now?

So, after quite correctly offloading a number of last year's squad, we have to make do with the current set of players left over, along with a few inexperienced loan signings in a bid to return back up to the Championship.
I wonder if this was really in the new managers agenda when he took the job?
Personally, I've never been too keen on loan signings. However well they perform, they usually return to their parent club.
I suppose both the fans and the manager will have to accept the fact that Tan and company will not spend another penny on this club.
I try to be optimistic, but let's be honest, it's very disappointing!

Everton won't loan him only just signed him

Not only that, De Bruyne plays for Napoli

Makes me really glad that fans aren’t in charge of the signings.
Howieblue would probably be emailing Liverpool asking if we could loan Suarez.

We're about to play our third game of the season and we are still yet to sign an outfield player after coming bottom of the league.
We got proper roughed up at Port Vale, our youngsters need some experienced, battle hardened warriors who knows this division and can physically compete with teams like Port Vale getting the ball forward quickly against us, especially away from home.
Our youngsters need to be protected by some older heads alongside them doing the running, battling and scrapping. We need some experience and know how down the spine of our team especially, a commanding leader at centre back to organise is a must.
BBM went on about certain players not being in the correct positions at Port Vale - because they're youngsters learning on the job with no guidance on the pitch. This is why we lost control at Port Vale and became a disjointed mess.
We clearly need players and we must be the only team in the football league still yet to sign an outfield player this season. How embarrassing, it isn't good enough.

Sure it was claimed that the club aka the 'transfer committee' or whatever they are called had signings lined up but BBM put a stop to that so that he could source his own choice of players to play the style of football he wanted us to. So now despite the fact the transfer committee had players lined up we are no longer going to sign anyone for a fee. This club lives on bullshit.

Agree we need some old heads. But some of the responses are ott. Especially saying bbm should go public about tan and walk out etc and sheff wed is way worse situation than our club how can they be compared when not paying staff etc. We not that bad yet

Didn't someone post on an earlier thread saying Liam Cooper was a free agent?

No big loss IF we get a replacement

Going off BBM’s own words, the hold-up is on him. He knows exactly who he wants and won’t just chuck anyone into the squad. If it’s a centre-half, it’s got to be the right one to improve us. Feels like we’re waiting on four nailed-on starters.
If Tan wants us to go up and sell for more, why would he hamper the Manager?
I think BBM prefers playing with young players; you can see that by the players he selects and the players he's bombed out.
It's early days, it's work in progress, with a new Manager and a new young team.

Did mention this very early on last month, glad to see BBM open about it.
