When you put it like that it really does make the transfer committee look like a Joke

What a shambles of a list of players. The bottom cluster without clubs were on good money, also!!

I have no idea why Joe Ralls would be in that list, it's not like he was transferred here in the last 4 years & then failed to make the mark while he was here, or are you saying he has always been crap? He was here so long he will probably get a testimonial sometime in the future and was mostly loved by the fans.

Sorry but he shouldn't be anywhere near this list & compared to the likes of El Ghazi.

A bit surprised nobody has taken a chance on Rinomhota yet, he's a good professional and not too old.

But this is what I mean when I say I'm not bothered about the majority who have left. It's only O'Dowda that I would have kept.

Of course we need a few additions to boost the numbers by September but I wouldn't have any regrets about those players that have gone, squad needed cutting anyway and some of them were paid far too much.

It does show how much money we have wasted over the years on bad signings.

His form dropped yes, there was an interview somewhere and he said he struggled after Siopis left.

No nonsense defender who would stand up to the physical side of the league this season though.

Would take rhino back.

Most of those will get clubs shortly.

No nonsense is the opposite of blaming shite form on a 5foot3 midfielder leaving the club.

Problem is that the transfer committee have signed players who haven’t been right for the style of football that the manager wants to play

Transfers should be dealt with by the manager

Taking away hindsight.

How many of those players were people genuinely gutted we signed?

Everyone was made up we got El Ghazi. Goutas was class for most of the time he was with us with a significant drop in form granted. Rino was a player people liked. Collins looked brilliant when he first played until he got badly injured. Meite was a player who scored plenty for Reading. Ralls has had a long and good career with us.

Yes. I don't mind admitting that I was excited by the signing of El Ghazi and said at the time that I was always impressed when Meite played against us for Reading.

Many others said the same and if they said they didn't, they're lying.

I also remember when Salech signed, some people were saying thinks like "another donkey from a foreign league."

Goes to show that while we all have our opinions and even though the club have made bad signings over the years, it's a good job that us fans don't make the decisions.

Yep.

I regularly allude to some of the players we have let go who we now say we need.

Let’s face it. We don’t really know a lot about footy. We love the game and that’s brilliant but if we were on any transfer committee we would f**k up on some transfers more than likely.

We’ve made bad signings of course and we all remember Lambert, Madine etc.

But we’re no different to other clubs across the divisions. It’s all relative.

Look at the hundreds of millions Manchester United have wasted for example.

Matt,

100% agree it should the Manager, that’s why we have one in the first place.
