Turner or Trott?

In the build up to the first game, it never once crossed my mind that Turner would start. Just assumed it would be Alnwick or Horvath.

Seems like Trott will be confirmed over the next day or so.

So who starts in goal at Vale?

I would say Turner. He did well yesterday.

It does seem like those two will compete for the number one spot.

Not sure where it leaves Horvath and Alnwick. One will leave I assume, probably Horvath.

I’d find it odd if any of the new signings went straight into the starting 11, considering BBM’s supposed rigour with training and tactical analysis. You’d imagine any new signing would take some time to acclimatise to BBM’s approach and integrate with the squad

Turner until he deserves to be dropped, Ned. He did very well on Saturday and one save was top class!

Turner. These youngsters may thrive as a unit with the managers confidence behind them. Solid performance Saturday too.

Well I don't think any of us have ever seen Trott play.

We all saw Turner play very well. He didn't make any mistakes and he doesn't deserve to be dropped, so Turner should continue to be played.

I think Turner will thrive and grasp the opportunity. It really makes me wonder why he wasn't considered last season with how awful Horvath and Alnwick performed.

No idea why we are even signing another keeper tbh but the manager knows what he wants I guess. Has to be one or two going out surely if we sign another.

Turner played very well, but Trott needs to be tested, move on the present Two, Cardiff have always had good goal keepers, so let's make the new keepers great.
