Shhhh, you’re not supposed to remember what was said before, if it doesn’t fit the new narrative! ;) :ayatollah:

I get he wants as much cash back as possible, but we know revenue will drop this season. More so than it has the previous. If we take the last financial year, we’re being subsidised at roughly £15-20m a year. Given reduced revenue and outlay, you’d imagine it’ll be similar again. So he needs to gain 20m more from a sale in the championship to break even. We know he won’t put the cash up for a promotion push, so what is he hanging on for? Unless the bids are considerably lower than his 100m estimate, and I mean in the region of 30-40m on the whole, what is his benefit. The club will only be worth £100m plus in the prem .. that’s obvious

Going by radio Wales the amount money needed to buy club Inc dalmans 40m is 120m so that's the amount you'd figure tan wants .... so 50m is not going to work ... but by end season that will surely rise by10m and going up will not persuade buyers to come running for any more than 130m... if an want to deal with tan after this fiasco.

Dalman said, in his meeting with the Fan boards and club staff, that Tan wanted £100m. Can’t say I listed to his radio interview, I’m tired of the political answers. We need to accept we’ll never get sold if Tan just adds his debt every season to his personal valuation. We’re worth £40m, maybe £50m at a push now. £50m-60m in the championship.. I would guess. I just can’t see the valuation jumping 30m plus via promotion. Either our cost cutting this year will see us end up fairly even in terms of cost, else I don’t understand why he’d spend £15m getting promoted, just to try get it back in a sale. All very strange.

So he wants 100m yet bbc says his debt is around 80m plus owe dalman 40m ....trouble is that 80m will cover his debt leaving club technically debt free as long as dalman is paid off..... problem gor nes owners is they've got to cover around 10m loss this season coming... a bit of bargaining to be done..of course this is as long as figures are fairly accurate. ....

Being honest Allan, it feels all logic has gone out of the window. Though is that a surprise with the current owner/board?

I too tried to think logically and take the debt etc. into account. Now it feels like Tan changes depending on whether we win/lose a game. As you correctly pointed out, he’ll have to fund £10m or so this season to get us up. Does he think the club will be valued at £20m higher as a result? I think that’s incredibly risky personally, we know football success isn’t guaranteed, especially when you are running it as we do.

I guess we don’t know the offers. Perhaps they’re 40m or so and he thinks by getting us up they’ll get 60-70, but I can’t see us getting near his £100m target without promotion. Sheff Utd went for around that with a high end championship team and parachute payments .. we’re miles off that at the moment.

Watford up for sale owner wants or wanted £170m we are worth that in my opinion if was in championship! Also got to take into account we got so much infrastructure like house sports the academy and when they eventually finish it the training ground so £170m could be cheap

What's your problem? If want to say something useful make argument against what I've said? Not some stupid comment again!

Yes and if think that's ott financial analysts put Wrexham at £200m because of their marketing through Hollywood! And yes watford owner wanted £170m not saying we will be sold for £170m but tan wants his investment back that will increase what price will be needed.... as we've seen already tan is asking too much apparently and of course there's dalmans £40m to add to ammount ? talking 100m + in div 1 .....anyway if no one pays what tan wants now we are going to be stuck with him for the very forseable future because I believe this squad can go far and tan wants promotion to is CV again
