Matthew Turner

To be honest I was very sceptical when I seen he was starting line up today. However, he did not look out of place and made some very good saves especially one right at the end which Peterborough could have levelled it.
I know we got that trott supposedly coming in, but would not be to disappointed as Turner turn in a good display and he pretty good with the ball at his feet as well.

He played well.

My eyebrows raised too, but could see quite early on he’s very comfortable with the ball at his feet, so can understand why BBM opted for him.

Cat like reflexes towards the end when we were under the kosh! Really, really good save!

I did a double take when I saw his name listed first & thought "that must be a mistake" but he did well with a couple of their shots.

I was shocked to see him in the starting line up.

But he did very well.

Couldn't do anything about the penalty, it was well taken and he did at least dive the right way.

Made two big saves and did the simple stuff well with his feet.

Pleased for him.

Did not look out of place at all.

He was very solid fair play - a very decent debut.

Their goalie seemed to think he was playing rugby and kicking for touch!

I think most of us were shocked when we seen him named. And I'm nor afraid to admit that I msg a few mates and said fook I don't think that's great starting him. But so glad to be proved wrong. Hope he keeps growing in the games as the season progress. If wasnt for stupid penalty decision poor lad may of got clean sheet too

To be honest I was very sceptical when I saw the team sheet, especially after the defensive mix up in our friendly in Spain, but he pulled of some top saves and I am now wondering whether he can in fact be a top level goalkeeper who will one day be playing in the Premier league

Turner wasn't on the pitch for the injury time goal. Gone off injured
