The man has never told the truth in all his born days.
Personally, and it's just my opinion of course, I feel that he has been directed by his overlord Tan to deliberately obsfucate what is really going on behind the scenes.
Maybe, just maybe, the interested parties have insisted that everything is kept hush-hush until they are ready to announce their succesful bid.
Lets live in hope eh?
