The Ref

OMG. Worse than appalling.

He definitely favoured the away team.

At times he looked like he didn't know what to do.

Mostly refereed L1 games last year but looked out of his depth today.

I don’t know. If I was a Peterborough fan I be screaming why lawlor wasn’t sent off we got away with it could have been totally different result if he didn’t do us a solid and keep us at 11 men.

It was never a pen and I think the ref just guessed as he was looking through a crowd of players. Absolutely shocking decision.

I think the awarding of the penalty benefitted us to be honest we were a better team and had more chance winning from 1 behind with 11 which was proven than having 10 men at 0-0.

I've just seen the replay and you're right.

In the stadium, I didn't spot the Lawlor tackle. He was already booked and would have been a certain second yellow, if not straight red.

Lawlor got a chunk of the ball and Fish cleanly took the ball.

Neither challenges were fouls. The ref had an absolute shocker.

Nice to get a win with a bad ref. We must be doing something right.

Agreed.

And where on earth did he get eight minutes of added time from at the end?

And then he played on past the eight minutes until we got possession and then immediately blew the whistle.

If we thought the refereeing was bad in the Championship we need to get ready for a whole new level of shite in League 1.

He played over 9 mins 50 seconds injury time when it was 8 mins he must have come on the same bus as peterborough

In fairness when the board went up for 8 mins there was a load of subs and it took 2 mins to restart.

He was shit though and constantly give them soft free kicks
