If the owner does not want to commit any more money, most of which was wasted because of his poor strategy and leadership, then that’s fine .. but it clearly means it’s time for him to sell up and give a someone with fresh impetus a chance. I appreciate we’re not a charity, and he’s put vast sums in, but the failure to modernise and manage the club on the day to day mean it’s all self inflicted.

Time to go VT and your CEO

Weve got 6-8 million drop in income to find

That’s fair. At least that’s covered then, though you’d imagine still more high earners to go and lesser wages to come in. Out of interest, as I’m not massively close to it. How did Birmingham manage the transition so well and spend so heavily? Surely they had the same drop? What could the club copy, should they wish?

They brought in a new novice manager also remember they had quite a bit of money in sales to play with sell on clauses were massive with both Bellingham brothers

Not having a go at the OP, only saying what he's heard.

But some OTT replies are what I mean about everything being so negative on here.

Let's just wait and see what happens.

Dreading the next few weeks if it's going to be like this on here every day.

Re: Hierarchy Cut Costs even more at CCFC:

Fair enough, I’d love us to spend £5m let alone the £35m they managed, but we’ll see.

I do agree on the squad in fairness. It’s not terrible and good enough for playoffs, not sure enough to go up though. Especially with an injury or two in a long season. It lacks pace and we need a wing back on each side, but at some point you have to trust the kids or ship them out. Davies, Ashford, the Colwill’s all need to be given a decent preseason and some better coaching. The profile of Ruben is a dream if he can be taught to use his size and improve his decision making.

Players get all their news from their phones, they don’t need Sky at The Vale. They’ve just been relegated after an embarrassing showing, make them fly Ryanair. Why would we reward failure? Sit next to fans on the plane and let them tell you about what the club means to them, how they used to go to games with their parents/grandparents who are no longer around. Why relegation hurts, and why it’s horrible to see a once proud club in this position.

Personally I support these decisions and I agree, should’ve happened years ago.

Well said .

15 years way to late to cut losses

I REMEMBER WEZ SAYING 5 YEARS AGO THAT HE “WAS GLAD TO SEE OUR CLUB RUN MORE PROFESSIONAL “

Tan has actually Fucked OUR CLUB

Wez,

Tan has a CEO Selling Cars but paid by us

All these chartered planes etc should of been Stopped years ago, Costing us fortunes , Never made the team play well did

We’ve been losing money for years Dalman has kept telling us, so things like this should of happened then.

Virtually all Div1 clubs would fly on budget airlines if they needed to travel abroad

70% would have their pre season in the U.K…unfortunately that’s where we are at the moment

The days of the premier League money are long gone!!

It should have stopped as soon we were Relegated from the Premier League.

I believe as you say they should all go on Budget airlines.

Monty it’s true.

First time in My 53 years of Supporting City, this has happened.

Agree I think our current squad is strong enough with 1 or 2 additions. We can be there or there abouts.
How many times last season did people on here say our side is league 1 etc. Well now we are league 1 so ?

Sunderland have gone down a similar youth route, it worked out very well for them and their fans love it, even though they know they got promoted a year or two early.

I think our squad is good enough already and with youth coming through im excited , for years the academy had been bashed on here by some ,well let's see if the investment in the academy in the last 10 years is going to pay off ,i think we have the manager to do this .

it’s then a 2 hr transfer to the base (costs), also been told that Sky Sports has been taken away from the Training building at the Vale as it costs the Club £13,000 a year,.

Been told Murphy’s budget is very very low, but he’s happy as he has got the job.

Murphy Tod to get loans in and young players.

Received £300,000 for Callum O'Dowda.

Annis, this is the price we are paying for a very, very badly run football club and nothing will change until Tan is removed.

Sadly I agree with you Paul.

But the 1% on here will say different

Far be it for me to cross swords with you Annis, (and by the way I am in the TAN OUT OUT OUT camp and always have been), but an awful lot of your posts lately, and those of others on here, seem very focused on a tiny minority of people who still support Tan, and to quote yourself above, 1% of our supporters seem to still support Tan.

That leaves 99% of supporters who are in the TAN OUT club. Seems to me you and others are wasting an awful lot of time and effort spitting vitriol towards that 1%, when that time and effort could be directed to better more positive posts.

I hate Tan as much as anyone, but it's getting both toxic and irritating coming onto the board lately and seeing bile spewed out all the time.

Can we not just give it a rest now and focus on the coming season?

great post and spot on.
obviously Annis is still very bitter and i get that, but for the sake of this season lets back off a little bit and see how it goes
by the way i am not a Tan arse licker

Some of the 1% you talk of are the ones who wind ,
by saying your wasting your time protesting or saying there where not many protesting what's the point tan will not take any notice etc
Exasperating things perhaps you should address that point.

Disagree Monty, it's sheer wasted energy. It's 1% by Annis's own admission FFS.

Being constantly accused of being 1% or a ‘Tan Lover’ just because we don’t agree with every single thing posted by either Annis or Jonny or Monty doesn’t mean we love Tan.

It’s getting monotonous and boring now.

Ever thought that the way people treat those who don’t agree with every single thing posted, is having a knock on effect on the cause? Because it is.

Never said you had Monty.

People look up to your posts the same way they do with Annis.

If people disagree with what you post then certain posters on this forum call people the 1%, Tan Lovers, etc etc.

We're a relegated club. Cutting costs is a simple and obvious fact, and basic economics.
