Have we a right to be concerned?

I think this is the most concerned I have ever been under tan, if we dont get this right this season by going up i can see us in free fall.

Have you ever seen a club leave it just weeks to get players in and settled ? Or even take so long to get a manager in?

Pure lack of communication, zero belief from the board for ambition to get right back in the higher league. We are ran like an amateur club and it scares the shit out of me.

If we fail to go up this season the number of fans will drop the season ticket sales will fall we will be in the worse state we have ever been.

For years me and a lot of others on here and around our club has been worried about the poor running of our club just to be shot down and told we are negative, but now pur biggest fears have come true.

Yet our fans just smile and wave and get on with it, any other club would be outside that stadium daily screaming for the heads of the board to sell up and leave but not us! We just roll over pay our money and accept it, we are such a mess....im extremely worried

That’s the Worrying bit as we, many of our fans as you say smile and say back the manager.

I'm Very concerned indeed. With a little under four week to go, before our first game of the season (2nd August), with no new players (yet)?
We are going to be like lambs to the slaughter, as things stand. Don't underestimate the challanges in Div 1, it's a tough league, as many of our older fans will know only too well.

Unless we strengthen the squad, we are going to struggle big time, it's as simple as that, and if VT is still in charge come August, then I fear that is what's going to happen!

I’m hoping that no signings means that tan his serious about selling the club and he finally does and goes

I am concerned and you have forgotten about the Soulless stadium thanks to these bafoon’s, will not be renewing for my sons and me,just buying a membership and away games only,not bringing my sons to that stadium as it is.

Just when I was thinking just need Barnet Blue to complete the bingo card here he comes.

Another with a ‘walk away and abandon the club’ excuse when we really need people to stay and show the supporters are really ‘Club Lovers’ and won’t be cowed by any given owner!

Metaphorically and factually, there will be life after Tan, so people should hang on in there. That time (this season or another) is coming!

Rarely in my time have I received close information in regards to the club other than handful of times but movement is going on behind the scenes and BBM is doing very well with no leaks in regards to this.

In contact with Man City over the weekend in regards to loans/permanent transfers (obviously youngsters) and could expect at least 2 come the season starts, ideally there is 1 out of the 2 that BBM really rates from his time there that wants to work with him again but a lot will need to be done on that front.. likelihood is won’t be this week but 1 will definitely be coming in that he wants and the hierarchy are aware of this.

I think even with departures we still got a strong squad at the moment so not overly concerned.

It’s not like me to post anything positive, but I believe we have more than enough quality in the squad to be favourites for promotion.
I say this confidently as we should have never been anywhere near relegation last season in the first bloody place!
Had it not been for Riza’s abysmal substitutions, players in the wrong position, lack of tactics, no press whatsoever, sideways and backwards passing and certainly no plan B.
With a decent manager at the helm I’m looking forward to stability and a confidence building season to get City back on track. A cliche but 1 step back, 2 steps forwards thinking. I’m not concerned about anyone who’s gone including COD or Ramsey. Robinson, Chambers, Ng and Horvath should also go imo.
We already have plenty of talent in the likes of Lawlor and Kpacio and sprinkled with a couple of additions from Man City’s fringe players or youngsters and we’ll be fine.

maybe the new manager wants to test a few things out in terms of what player he wants to play and what player fit into his tactics. I think once a friendly or 2 comes and goes then the new manager will be looking at certain players in the market to buy.

Annis, you know I want Tan gone and as quickly as possible; but for a (pretend IMHO) ‘Jack’ to come on here only ever to take the piss and get a rise, is not on, no matter how ‘soft’ he plays it. On this occasion, I’m simply batting it back!

I am certainly worried about the crowds dropping but are they all walking away in recent years (particularly this last one) because of Tan? the way we play? relegation? lack of interest? constant squabbling? or other reasons they simply won’t own up to?

I certainly know people who told us they were not renewing because of Tan, but later found out the reality lay elsewhere, with one (a close colleague) simply being told ‘no more’ by his wife!

Our club is in shit state at the moment and it really grips me. However, it’s a mixture of (mainly) Tan, poor football, poor atmosphere, Wayne Nash, and our League status that is to blame. They certainly came while we were riding high; even in the despicable red!

It’s certainly a tough one and I pray we are coming close to the end of the Tan Dynasty; but we don’t need lectures from WUM’s like Proud Jack and his ilk, when their own house is in not much better order other than League position

I can’t do much about those who have walked but I’ll be there for the first game, as will you (and many others), because we still back OUR club, not Tan’s and that’s because we are true Bluebirds at heart!

I’m just so frustrated that we are still waiting and Tan still runs the Circus.

In my humble opinion, I think we have some really skilful players for this league but no dogs to bite back, I think this will be our weak point against clubs who have battled in L1 and 2 for years with refs who are way more lenient on crunching tackles will see some of our shrinking violets bottle it. A centre half with one eye and no teeth will batter the like of Robinson and he will disappear. Its going to be a tough tough season but I think we will be promoted first time of asking if we can get a dog or two in.

We have just been relegated to our lowest level in nearly a quarter of a century, had let twelve players go from the first team squad without bringing in a single replacement (also, there'd not been a single credible rumour all summer regarding a possible new signing), we have a depleted coaching staff featuring some who had been promoted to coaching the senior team from working with youngsters, and have appointed a new manager with only a reputation for developing young players.

Would you feel that club's supporters had a right to be concerned for the future?

I have noticed your not allowed by some on here to be concerned, but I am.

Too right we should, we have an inexperienced, previously relegated Manager and have lost a fair few starters, plus we still have the negative losing, relegated momentum.

If this appointment was a another gamble that goes wrong we are right in the shit.
