Win Win situation at the moment for those wanting Tan Out

Mon Jun 23, 2025 10:05 pm

Bale comes in and the deal is done = Win

Tan declines offer from One of Wales Greatest sons of recent times, then he loses his final shred of support, backing, dignity, honour and I dont think it will be difficult any more to raise a demonstration of tens of thousands.

As Ned has said on a separate post, very well played Mr Bale, very well played.

"for those wanting Tan out"

So there are some that don't want him out? ..... unbelievable

100% agreed. Viva Gareth Bale chants and "Bale IN" banners at the first home game. Let the regime know.

Tan will do the usual be awkward and i can see bale walking away and the circus will continue,
Or this would be the best bit of news we have had in 20 years.and attendances will start to climb back to 25 plus

If he takes the deal it'll be because it suits him and nothing else matters.

I want Tan out as much as some but not all. (I can’t claim that as some detest him more than I).

But, the 25k plus thing won’t happen straight away and will only happen with sustained success at a higher level than league one.

Disagree on attendances
Ipswich had this all season and I am sure a lot of city fans would "rus back" with bale as an owner and a party atmosphere with tan gone
I honestly could see attendances moving very quickly in the right direction.

The benefits for the club would be immense.

1. A new crest with no oriental dragon
2. No more "Visit Malaysia" branding on the shirt or stadium
3. An owner who actually turns up to games regularly
4. An owner who doesn't meddle with football matters
5. An owner who cares about the club and the city
6. An owner who talks positively about our fans (i.e "customers")
7. No more red seats!

The list is endless. We need this to happen.

If we had success the fans would come back I agree.

If we are top of league one this year the crowds will be quite high.

The only time we had sustained 25k plus crowds is with Tan while doing well.

I actually think if Tan hands over the reigns to Gareth Bale, and structure his debt in a way that he receives say a 25% shareholding in the new company - He will be able to say that he acted in the best interests of Cardiff City whilst also leaving the club debt free.

I know there will be those who will never forgive VT - but to those that will listen to him he could come out with some credibility if he chooses to do the right thing

I’ve read somewhere lately Tan wants £25m plus leave all the debts (approx £150m) for the consortium. Don’t know how true that is but apparently that was what Tan came back with for the first offer

Having a real football man at board level such as Bale would be huge. His contacts in the game too

When we returned to blue and slight bump in attendance, it didn't last
When we got rid of the wiggle in the badge last season, attendance reduced

When Tan leaves, we won't be opening up any new blocks for the droves of leavers.

When tan goes it will be because it’s right for him. He’s been trying to sell for ages and now possibly it is right for him. Absolutely nothing to do with. Anything else.

Weren’t a load abusing bale on here a while back when some thought he was coming to us and he never did?
How fickle we are. And that’s what great about football the emotional rollercoaster it provides.

Until we lose a couple, and then the apathy and negativity will start again. Some people just can’t help themselves!

Would love you to be right but Tan is a bloody minded character, and can afford to spite us; which is why I can’t get too positive about this Bale thing at this time

Maybe, I don't recall. It's all speculation at the moment, but I would welcome Bale to the club or any other new owner. I will continue with my 'Tan out' rhetoric untill there is change. :bluescarf:

Actually they will be racing to say I told you so.

Bale is a Welsh legend. Deserves nothing but respect.

Bale messed everyone about with that fiasco, not limited to Cardiff City Football Club.

Quite a good way to make amends
