PERRY NG DALAND CHAMBERS DO THEY FIT IN?

Wed Jun 18, 2025 8:05 pm

Murphy sounds like he prefers the youngsters do these guys fit in with him along with the older still ralls riminota.personally I am happy to push the young ones through just like Sunderland did.
After that interview today we surely have to win the league now .

BBM wants players who will run. That's bad news for Ng and Chambers.

I suspect Kpakio will be front of the queue to be RB. He can invert and overlap so perfect for this new system.

Chambers should look for another club. If we had another defensive manager then he would have fitted in, but he doesn't align with BBM's view of the game.

There will be three CMs, one will be slightly defensive with a CB (possibly Lawlor) coming forward to combine with them.

Daaland can go. I’m assuming Chambers is on hefty wages that can be used elsewhere so bye to him too. Depends on which NG we are discussing. - the one who’s always up for it - keep - the can’t be ar$ed one - get rid.

Ng fall off has been crazy. My guess is he lost confidence and interest in Bulut then Riza. HIs mate signed an extension then fell out with Bulut and ended up at Millwall.
We will need some experiance especially if Ralls and Rinomhota go.

Chambers only turned 30 in January, he'll get another championship club. But perhaps make him captain and he is the skipper

Surprised perry ng does' nt want a move to stay in the championship daland is way to slow gets turned easily and looses his man and chambers blows more cold than hot
Maybe fish could stay but the other 3 not bothered if they go.

Yes I agree. Fish ok but we need a monster no nonsense CB who’s vocal. Ps. Another keeper and we can sell any one of the 2 here atm.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Fish and Lawlor as first choice CBs.

Definitely need a new goalkeeper.

I understand that they are both up and coming but I'm thinking that there are some brutes of centre forwards in League 1 and I'm also thinking that neither of those 2 are particularly vocal.
I'd pick one of them with a new CB.

I'd be looking to offload as many defenders as we can and replace as many as we can.

This defence (and Goutas, who blamed all but himself) are the reason we're in this division.

Riza's handling of the defense and goalkeepers created such disarray that it's now impossible to accurately assess individual performance. We simply don't know who was genuinely poor and who was unfairly implicated in the horrendous mistakes and gifted goals.

Therefore, BBM and Riley's immediate priority must be to overhaul this defensive unit. Their task is to determine the optimal combinations, identify players who need to be moved on, and bring in new defenders and keepers as required. It will be fascinating to see who makes the cut for the first league game.
goalkeepers are needed. The makeup of the backline for the opening league fixture will be a significant reveal.

As a defending full back he is ok ish.
As an attacking full back dreadful.
