If we get £2 million for him plus wages off the wage bill I would be very happily amazed.

His work rate is not great but he scored 12 goals after missing many games last season in a team that hardly creates any chances
£2 million is a bit of a snip
Totally agree with you.
We need players like Robinson.
The money would be kept by Tan anyway.
He doesn't want to stay.
Why keep players who don't want to be with us?
Get rid.
I would not have wanted to stay under Omer Riza who apparently was taking us to the Premier League

Do you still think Rubin is worth £20million?

I’d take the 2m, just keep Salech no matter what.

Sell. Salech is our best striker.

If the club paid 2 million for a 30 year old striker you would be up in arms about that.
That is one massive presumption you’ve made about someone you didn’t know. I have knew once here spoke about players values till now.
I wouldn’t be up in arms at all.
Firstly it’s not my money so why would it bother me. And secondly we could spend 3 times that and not get a striker with all the benefits he brings on and off the pitch.

I think this is paper talk filling space. He will be gone, but I doubt we get very much at all for him. £2 million is reasonable if we were in the Championship, but he could have been a free agent in two weeks, and that would have secured a decent signing-on fee. I doubt their agents would not have accounted for that.
I will be surprised if we receive anything more than a 10% of that £2 million figure, same with CO'D. Chambers will be interesting as i doubt he'll have a L1 release clause.
If they can get one more championship, 3 year deal is worth £600k more to them at the end of their careers.
Quick search of salaries on Grok and i would imagine Robinson as a glory boy striker would have been well beyond the average
The average annual wage for EFL Championship players is significantly higher than that of League One players, reflecting the financial disparity between the two tiers of English football.
EFL Championship: The average weekly wage is approximately £10,000, translating to an annual salary of around £520,000. Some sources report figures as high as £12,600 per week (£655,200 annually) for the 2024-25 season, though estimates vary due to differences in club budgets and parachute payments for recently relegated teams.
League One: The average weekly wage is around £7,045, equating to an annual salary of approximately £366,340. Other sources suggest a median weekly wage of £6,000 (£312,000 annually), with top earners like Barry Bannan reaching £21,000 per week (£1,092,000 annually) in 2023.

Sounds like the agent/club trying to drum up some interest. Anything above what we paid for him would seem good business to me. Struggles to stay fit and being honest, not sure what his position is. Feel like you almost need to be willing to give him licence to be carried and play with 9 men without the ball. Excellent finisher in attack, but doesn’t hold it up well enough to play 9. Get someone in with a bit more flexibility and pace
