And this is the point as to why I think he should stay.

What we need to do is get a decent manager in so the likes of Rubin will flourish.

That I think is the answer.

How many managers has he played under though?

I'm more worried about losing Salech than Rubin.

I've always blamed managers for him not playing well, but I can't blame them anymore.

He rarely brings anything to the team.

Too weak on the ball, too many pointless flicks and holding onto the ball too long.

Yes, he does show some great skills, but let’s be honest that's 1 in 20 games at best.

There is huge talent there, but he’s 23(?) and I still don’t know what his best position is. Arguably his biggest impact this year was pulling out of the challenge when Luton got their equaliser

Is he wanted for impersonating a football last season? He needs a move to further his career.

Exactly - No consistency. Shit Managers and lots of them.

What we need is a good manager who is going to steady the ship. A manager who players know where they are with. And a manager who is here for a few years and not a few months.

We are referencing Rubin here but I also think the number of managers is affecting Perry Ng as well.

There is just no consistency - apart from consistent rubbish

Rubin needs to go.

He needs to find a more stable club.

Good luck to him if he signs for an another club. He had a very poor season for us.

How many did have a great season for us.

Plus we never had a decent manager, in fact Rubin could of managed us better

Haha. You beat me to it I thought it meant there was a warrant out for his arrest for impersonating a professional footballer. lol.

When has Rubin ever had a good season for us.

The excuses are always there for him: he didn't have a proper manager, he wasn't played in the right position, he wasn't given enough minutes, he was still growing etc.

Sick of these excuses. He just hasn't delivered.

He needs a fresh start and he may still fulfill his potential - but it's obvious it's not happening with us.

I'd accept £4m with a sell on clause.

How many of those appearances are for coming on as a sub or playing a full game.

I still think he needs a good coach sadly all our managers & Coaches have been desperate to save their jobs so our young players not had a real chance to prove themselves in over 5 seasons.

That's a fair point, a lot of them would have been as a substitute.

But I stand by my comments. A move would benefit him.

If we were linked to a player with stats, not one of us would be excited.

He has moments of brilliance and can change a game with his vision, but the problem is that is happens once in a blue moon.

There could be many reasons why.

If we were still in the championship next season then I’d say he needs a move to a different team, who might use him a bit better with more continuity in terms of management.

But, a drop to league one could do him some good.

The lad has skill do wonder about his motivation ,tactical awareness and resilience.

We need folk like Barry Ban next year ,old war horses ,intelligent, effective and above all influential on the field of play .

10 million and hes yours

I would sell he lacks a few attributes and Div 1 is for old intelligent war horses like Barry Bannon ,whose positional sense, work rate is far beyond Rubin's.. 8 million please .. ??

Rubin should stay as be a first name starter. His ability should tear up league 1

I hope he stays and plays deeper like he did against Villa.

I think it’s a good decision for both parties if he goes. It will benefit Rubin’s career and will also bring a sum in for Cardiff.

I feel like it’s all a bit stale for Rubin at Cardiff and I think he could flourish in new surroundings. There’s been a number of players in recent years that have been poor at Cardiff and have then moved on and then looked like a totally different player. I put that down to Cardiff and the structure of the first team. Not having a playing style or identity that is stuck to and jumping from manager to manager massively effects some players
