Mehmet Dalman

Sat Apr 19, 2025 2:31 am

If you could ask any questions to this business man what would it be? Shall we wait outside after the Oxford game for answers? As a protest after the game too. I heard he went into the car park smiling happy as Larry at the last home game against stoke. We as fans need answers these board members are not fans. We need to understand why they have stuck with Riza he has had 2 wins in the league since February. Something dodgey is going on here and as paying customers we need answers. Choo is a car salesman but if he’s willing to answer too it would be appreciated.

I would ask him whether he regrets his association with Tan - because I think he's done.

He's probably still only involved because he's connected with the club due to the money he's lent us.

He's the only one of the three who knows anything about football business.

He probably can't believe the decisions Tan is making as much as us.

I know he gives politician style answers but of the three, he's the most sensible.

I'm not saying he's a football genius, but at least he knows a little bit.

But unfortunately nothing happens at this club without Tan saying so, it's a flawed structure and one of the biggest problems in the way it's run.

That loan of £30m I would guess is secured. That being he will get it back unless Tan puts us into administration. Prime example if Tan sells he will have to pay back Dalman.

I just feel this is in Dalmans plan to take over the club. However something tells me Tan is expecting this from Dalman and being the stubbotn person he is he will continue holding the club up regardless. This is why I don't think he is worried about us getting relegated because it means the operating costs will be lower for him. Someone said earlier he will lose out on more sponsorship but I really don't think that bothers him.

Are operating costs lower? All clubs run in same way its just the amount of staff employed? Players wages can be reduced but by doing that relegation or stagnation is probable which exasperbates the situation... musnt forget club loses north of £15m just for being relegated for the size of city cost cutting is difficult without jeopardising stability .... its a balancing act that Tan does with a lopsided highwire pole

How rich do you need to be to not worry about money, even with a lavish lifestyle $100m?
On whatever assessment of wealth he has, it is multiples of that, so losing $30 million is just an accounting procedure. It hurts his pride it may also offset profits in other areas.

Dalmans' involvement fries my brain. He is rich by working-class standards, so he doesn't lose money for the thrill of it like a bored (former) billionaire. If he's in for £30 million, then it must be backed up, so in essence owns a third of the club now, but with no say.

No one has ever explained why he sunk money in.

He's obviously got a master plan as you say hasn't just put in £30m
On a whim and is it his money?
I bet he's going bananas at tans stupidity in gambling with his money... maybe it's the catalyst for tan leaving with dalman and a consortium taking charge....its needed to take club forward otherwise we could stagnate for years.

I think he'll be our next owner.

I think Dalman is becoming more and more tarnished week by week. There will come a point where he won’t be able to show his face without the nasty toxicity following him around. We’ve all seen it happen before.

The club is being run into the ground and Dalman has a hell of a lot to do with it.

Will the prick or anyone else at senior level actually be in Wales on Monday is the question!

Agreed.....

In fact it wouldn't surprise me if he single handedly sacked Riza without consultation with Tan.
