RIZA

Sun Apr 13, 2025 2:03 pm

It looks vey much that Riza will be our manger for league 1. To take us all the way down to league 2.
Ipswich showing city how it should be, fighting against relegation, they are almost definitely going down to the championship, yet their players are really fighting, although it seems to be a forgone conclusion, not just them but praise to their manager for not allowing, the players to give up.
2 nil up away from home against Chelsea,
Kudo's to all of them, just wish we were showing the fight that they are showing

He or nobody else knows the situation with Riza.
Even the board don’t know as the decision is down to Tan and Tan only.

Going by what Riza said other day about having positive talks about next season with Tan , and discussing it with purse it really sounds like he’s staying. Tan loves the guy he’s been charmed by him.

There may be only one way to get rid of him, make him unwelcome. Start chanting Riza get out of our club?

Roger,

Tan absolutely loves Riza as Tan sits watching his tv, Riza plays exactly as Tan says etc etc etc

Wow wow wow , as if this wknd couldn’t get any worse , how the f**k is he still in charge ? This is beyond shocking ,
TAN f**k off , get out of our club ,

Tan,get the fxxk out of our beloved football club.

Re: RIZA

Riza will be gone in a few weeks time as Tan will want a fall guy and Dalman will have his say too. Not to mention the toxic campaign of anger coming from the fans this summer and low ticket sales etc. Riza will be untenable. Talking about league Two is far fetched though. Will we return instantly? I really have my doubts. Look at Sunderland, it took them a while but we will come back eventually and we will be a force in league one. Just want the season to end and to start again.

Yet More unsubstantiated rumours and guesswork

Nobody apart from Tan is able to make this decision

According to some posters Riza was sacked last night

Re: RIZA

Sun Apr 13, 2025 3:55 pm

Jeez who to believe.

Person A says he’s getting sacked. Person B says he’s staying for next season.

Talk about a load of rubbish by at least one person

Re: RIZA

Nobody knows what will happen. It’s getting very toxic. It kicked off around the tunnel after the final whistle yesterday with a fan and some of the players (Ng, Davies, Tanner) security and stewards surrounded him for voicing his opinion. Not sure if he got arrested but at least he had the balls to give it to those players.

Tan is the only one who holds the cards. Dalman and Choo are irrelevant.

Where’s the comments he made before the Preston game I think it was saying he’s had positive talks with Tan? Or was that made up?

Re: RIZA

There's only one person mad enough to keep Riza next season. Unfortunately that one person is Tan.

If he stays, then Riza must have Tom Ramasut levels of job security.

How he’s still here is beyond me. He’s f*cking clueless! Awful coach!

Good on him I’m glad I’m not that close to the dugout I’d probably get a ban which could be a good thing if the privilege of watching tans club is taken away from me , I might be able to move on .

Re: RIZA

Wouldn't put it passed him.
Them years fans said they would rather be in league 2 in blue. And Tan will be laughing as it could well be a reality.

Re: RIZA

Sun Apr 13, 2025 6:20 pm

Riza must be on a really low wage.
Maybe that's the reason Tan wants to keep him.

Re: RIZA

That would be me not turning upto a game in 30 years if riza is in charge ,
cannot stand his excuses his total inability to inspire anyone,
and to be rewarded with failure is beyond my comprehension .

he won’t be here next season .. unless the Great Escape happens

Correct. I’m very confident he is gone before Sheff Utd.

So gutted for Ipswich. They have given so many points away from winning positions.
