what an impact richard shaw has made!!!!

Postby forevercity24655 » Fri Jan 10, 2025 10:24 am

since richard came in we have been so much of a better side. i know its not just his impact but it seems some of the players r pulling their finger out and starting to play better. all we need now is a fast striker(rjj) another winger and my opinion another full back

going back to the topic i think his character and his experience is rubbing on the rest of the staff and the players

this is the only good bit of news we had for the whole of december :D :bluebird:

We've been much stronger in defence as a unit , i think all good teams have a good backroom team , maybe riza will improve now .

Couldn’t agree more. He had a solid career and that was back when managers were tough, the captains were tougher.

He’s probably given the lads a rightful kick up the backside

Spot on, things have improved a lot since his first game involved at Oxford.

Breaking news. People can be wrong and change their mind.

Many backed Bulut to stay. I've admitted that I was one of them but others try to re-write history.

Well I didn't know too much about him to comment. But if its his contribution that has seen or influenced our recent performances then I'm all for him

probably not dreamt. It’s the first reaction of many to be negative.

Correct, this message board is one of the most negative. I started to wonder a few weeks ago, was this the norm, so started reading other teams message boards. Ours is terrible negative in comparison.

FFS.

Of course it's going to be negative. Have a look at the league table.

What do you actually expect??

Football is taking 2nd place and as done for ages.....but its a forum where you can be positive negative or anything in-between whatever floats your boat.

Yeah, but even when we win or have some positive news, certain people on here, will manage to turn the positive into another negative post about the board.

We all want change, we all want new owners but can we just try and see some positives when we win etc.

I'll admit I was a little too negative after the win at Watford.

But to be fair, there has mostly been positivity about the team since the Middlesbrough game and the FA Cup game.

Yeah, fair enough.

Just getting bored of reading the same stuff day after day. Can we just have one thread slagging off the board, one for the protest and then the rest could be about the actual football.

Personally, probably not that popular an opinion but I’ve believe we are starting to see signs of life out of this team. It’s certainly improved greatly since the arrival of Shaw, but again that would have been an appointment made by Riza.

As much as we all want a well known manager etc, I’m enjoying watching the last 5 games and think we are a few players off being half decent.
