My old nextdoor neighbour did time out in Kosovo as a bomb disposal expert during this time. He told me some really awful stories. I'm talking on a horror scale worse than the stuff IS have been carrying out. Shameful to think this whole travesty was allowed to happen within European borders.

I would imagine the Dutch were following their rules of engagement which were probably wholly inadequate and based on peace keeping.

Problem was we didn't want to risk it escalating hence the limited r of e.
