Cardiff City Football Club is delighted to announce that a long-term agreement has been signed that will see adidas as the official kit and equipment supplier of the Bluebirds.

With the start of the 2015/16 season marking our official return to blue home colours and the renaissance of the Bluebird as our predominant crest image, there is arguably no better time to be aligning with the global adidas brand - and those famous three stripes!

The new Cardiff City adidas kit will include the latest in performance technologies, with a full range of kit available for all levels of Club football and Bluebirds supporters. We hope you’ll be as excited about wearing your new adidas City shirts this summer, as we are to be bringing them to you.

A full reveal of Cardiff City’s 2015/16 adidas kits will take place here – cardiffcityfc.co.uk – this Friday, 19th June, with teasers being launched throughout the week via the Club’s Official Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Supporters eager to get their hands on the first Cardiff City adidas kit will be able to do so from Friday, 3rd July at the newly opened Cardiff City Stadium Superstore. Further detail relating to the day will be revealed in due course.

Speaking of the partnership, Cardiff City CEO Ken Choo said: “As Wales’ Capital Club, we felt that it was time for Cardiff City Football Club to align itself with one of the biggest – if not the biggest - sportswear suppliers on the international map.

“We’re extremely excited about re-opening the Stadium Superstore next month with the new kit on sale and I look forward to seeing City fans wearing our new shirt come the start of the ‘15/16 campaign.

“I’m thrilled that Cardiff City Football Club has this opportunity to move forward with adidas, sharing the same aspirations.”

Fantastic its official and its good that the kit is coming much earlier so glad that the club is finally seeing some sense.

I Like Adidas kits but the new badge looks cheap and tacky with nothing representing our Welsh heritage and Tan must think us fans are very gullible leading us to believe that's supposed to be a 'Welsh Dragon'
I feel insulted that the Welsh symbols have been completely ignored.
I loved the previous bluebirds badge with the leeks,daffodils and WELSH dragon and I for one would never buy a City shirt with such a badly designed badge.

That badge is my favourite City badge of all time, Tan should never have messed with it

the Tan dragon at the bottom with red trim is a big shame....will sell loads regardless.
