SKY TV Deals Help Needed

Genuine advise please,anybody had any good deals off sky recently???

I have been paying full rate for all channels including sports and movies, unlimited broadband and calls for about 3 years..am going to ring them on the weekend to try to get some discount

any idea what I might get offered or any tips??

Just tell them u want to cancel. They will try to bull shit u. Keep saying cxl when they put u through to cancellation department see what they can offer you. But let them suggest they want to offer you otherwise they think your bluffing about cancelling. I had full package for £47 month last year

As said before just phone up and say you want to cancel everything or you want to change to Virgin, they will phone you up within 2/3 days with a much better deal and they will offer you a much better deal than you would ever get if you phoned them normally.

I have done this a few times now even though I can't get Virgin in my area and I only pay £2 a month for skysports compared to what I was paying for tv Internet and phone. It is still more than I want to pay but I would never have got that unless I said I wanted to leave.

Dont mean to sound niave but what actually is it and what does it do.

Ask to be put through to disconnections when you ring as that department has better options and bigger discounts than the people u will initially speak to.. Just tell them that virgin has offered u the same package for 'x' amount less a month as a new customer so as your loyalty to sky u want to stay but want a aignificant reduction every month

The last 3 years Iv had sky half price . It's simple just cancel your subscriptions and with in a month you will get a letter offering u 50% off if you return . If you phone then and say your leaving they will only offer around 25% off . Trust me it works every time , a few of my mates also so this .
