My Dearest Mr Slade
Dont care how much youre paid
Please turn our useless lot
Into a team which has a plot
With play that will excite
On a cold bleak Tuesday night
A team that plays for us
and attacks, not park the bus.
So that we fly up the league
a team of dark intrigue.
Teach them to score goals
and plug our defensive holes.
Give us back our pride
and let us enjoy the ride.
