He closed down the space and rarely gave him any time on the ball which meant Ozil wasn't much of a threat in the game at all.
Who's job was it to keep ramsey quiet cos that fucker should never play again! Haha
Exactly
And this numpty here is calling others one eyed.
Its a defensive midfielders job to break up and stem the flow of atracks from Arsenal as a team not just one player unless of course he is man marking which he wasnt.
Which he did on countless occasions. He can't be everywhere however and was not helped by De Guzman having an absolute stinker in front of him.
It was between Canas and Davies for out man of the match today in my opinion.
I though Davies stood and watched as Ramseys pass found gnabry for his goal. It was clear that pass was coming yet he made no attempt to close in on him. Took his goal well though.

How the hell do you know his job? Behave and stop making shit up to carry your argument. Even if that was his job he did it absolutely terribly because it allowed Ramsay room to dictate play and score. Stop chatting complete rot.
Because I watched the game and can read the pattern of play. Anyone who thought Canas had a poor game today is either not familiar with the role of a defensive midfielder or just too one eyed to see it.
Feel free to disagree of course.
Temper temper! Below your big rivals and your throwing your toys out of the pram. Never mind.
What on earth are you on about? You been on the red wine again Gareth?
Just the one glass nJ. Filled it 6 times though

I take it your not a fan of canas then. He looks more like a beach bum from Newquay than a pro footballer.

I agree.
Britton has been key to your success, albeit a bit of a unsung hero, not sure how hes become the fall guy or is it just a case of Laudrup tinkering too much?

He obviously thinks more of canas than Leon , and I'm my opinion he's miles off the mark

Just watched it back and Davies was covering a Arsenal player who was out wide.

But it was obvious gnabry was clear and was going to be in on goal. Why worry about someone out wide when they weren't going to be involved?

Because he was too far across to come back over and cover in time. Amat got attracted to the ball instead following Gnabry which left him in too much space. To put any blame on Davies for the goal is very, very harsh imo.

Not blaming him, just thought he could have done more to cover. Only seen it once though so ill bow to your viewpoint since you've seen it a few times.
