Championship

Fk me looking at the championship this year and its gonna be tough a few teams spending going to be interesting to say the least!

Re: Championship

I was thinking the same thing! Looking at that league now from the outside, makes me realise just how tough that league is... Looks an even tougher prospect for teams to get promoted out of it this coming season.

Re: Championship

Thu Jul 25, 2013 10:26 pm

An open league as always - glad were not in it this season :ayatollah:

Re: Championship

Thu Jul 25, 2013 10:35 pm

Funny as I was thinking the same thing earlier. Great division and I enjoyed how well we did in it. Reading, QPR, Forest, Bolton, Leicester.....who can call it? :ayatollah:

Re: Championship

Thu Jul 25, 2013 10:46 pm

Looking at it I'd say 13 teams are looking to go up, will be exciting to watch from an outsiders view :ayatollah:

Re: Championship

Thu Jul 25, 2013 11:17 pm

It gets more and more competitive in that division!

:ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Re: Championship

And you can guarantee someone will say at the end of the season what a poor league it's been

What about Watinese? They gotta be up there surely.

Re: Championship

Defo will pay a lot of attention to it next season, always exciting to watch in it or not.

Re: Championship

My money would be on Forest to go up.

Re: Championship

It looks an exciting prospect. For once, I won't be paying too much attention to it though!!!

Re: Championship

Fri Jul 26, 2013 6:15 pm

Probably right about Reading and Bolton but can't see Ipswich making the play-offs.

That's okay. Don't mind banter. We've lost 4 first team players that without them then we'd not have made them play-offs.

I know how tuff the division is and anyone can beat any one on their day and is unpredictable but losing so many first teamers is very worrying.

We're cutting the cloth to meet the FFP rules by the looks of it and going for our youth. Massive gamble :|

One - Kemy Agustein - Swansea. http://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/10561801.Albion_In_Spain__Seagulls_set_to_swoop_for_Swans_midfielder/

Apart from him then total silence. We haven't got one left back. Bridge went to Reading and his stand in painter has gone to swindon.

I'll be looking at the trap door this season instead of the play-offs and autos.

Only Palace. They allegedly made an offer but got buffeted and they haven't been back since as they are claiming we are being unreasonable about our asking price. What do they want him for? A bag of smarties.

They want him for £1.5m, we want £4m.

We've stopped being mugged now since monkey man has gone.

It's a shame for you that your side has broken up as you were very good last season until it mattered. Having said that we've rebuilt a few times in recent years so you never know. I think I'd take bridcutt off you though :ayatollah:

Yes you have but you've always kept the core of your spine which is so important. Keep the core and you can just keep adding bits here and there around it to improve even better, but rip the guts out and you are fucked.

You kept Peter Wittingham for years when clubs were after him, That's a sign a club that wants/going places, keep the core and sell off the rift raff.

Bridcutt would improve any team in mid table prem team and as a holding midfielder then is class at his job, so much composure on the ball and only 22. Still a boy and growing in stature every season.

I hope MM has him on his radar. I feel for you fella but if you can keep the likes of bridcutt and build a team around him then you never know. I love the championship as will certainly be keeping close tabs on what will no doubt be another great season. Keep the faith mate and good luck

Kemy Agustien being touted as signing for Brighton. If you can get the best out of him, you've got yourself one hell of a player.Doubt you will though,he's too much of a lad and doesn't want to put the hard work in.MOTM against United last season but then got injured, again.
