Truth is we could probably spend a fraction of what it would cost in these guys and get some decent young foreigners in,of similar quality.. Every young British player seems to be touted at silly prices. That's why we need a good scouting system.
Would love to see Joniesta here though..

I thought he was close to a deal with Liverpool any way ? Don't see palace as an option even with a good manager don't see them staying up. The more I think about it though would love to see him come here plays well with a passing game kimbo belamey ince

i agree. i never watch england but did watch them under 21s las nite for that very reason. they where playd off the park at
times by italy who are no great shake themselves. ince will cost £2-3m more than hes worth jus cos hes english but is he technicaly beter than a whole load of under 21s from spain italy france holland belgium? thats were the VFM is!!

Your right about the costs of foreign players but Ince would hit the ground running, make an instant impact (IMO) & would improve himself & the team.
Young foreigners are generally more of a gamble (Velikonja)

England Under-21 winger played for boss Ian Holloway at Blackpool and is seen as ideal replacement for Wilfried Zaha

If Palace are in for him then we should get in quickly.
Is there anyone actual interest?
Tue Jun 11, 2013 8:55 am
wont happen if hes going anywhere he'll go back with holloway

Not sure if Holloway burned his bridges at Blackpool or not before he left...
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20392765The Blackpool connection could be why he would not rejoin his old boss.
That and the fact that Palace are favourites to go down.

Think that has a lot to do with holloway and the fact that when they came down he seemed really pissed off to be back in the championship once he'd tasted the premier league, since then hasnt been the happy fella we once saw ,in his own words he got fed up with people wanting him to always make a quip and didnt take him seriously ,i like holloway but hes definately changed .

But to react by not training them properly??
In that sense he was a lucky man Palace had a vacancy come up, he could have been out of a job at Blackpool.
Tue Jun 11, 2013 1:23 pm
Think he wanted out of there thats probably why he was like he was .bit crazy mind doing hardly any training .
Tue Jun 11, 2013 3:26 pm
I would be shocked if he went to palace I would expect him to go a club that has a very good chance or you would expect to stay in prem long term
Tue Jun 11, 2013 8:16 pm
i wouldnt rush in to buy ince... there are plenty of decent wingers out there...
Tue Jun 11, 2013 8:36 pm
Its just stupid for people to assume he will want to work with Holloway, he only worked with him a year anyway and given the choice of him or malky then malky would top any self respecting players list.
But there are bigger clubs than both us and palace linked so naturally you would put them ahead of us, but we have a good chance and a FAR better chance than f*cking palace
