Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay refuses Joe Mason loan offers.
HE may be a wanted man, but Joe Mason is going nowhere, insists Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay.
A number of clubs have inquired about signing the talented young Irish striker on loan for the rest of this season, but Bluebirds’ boss Mackay won’t budge.
“Half a dozen clubs have rung and asked for Joe on loan, but he is going nowhere,” says Mackay.

I think going out on loan to a good side and getting 9/10 games in before the end of the season for experience would have been good for the lad .
24 hour call back championship club would have been ok , it's not as if he's playing here every week

He's down the pecking order, let him go with a recall clause would have been fine IMO

I think league rules don't allow a call back in the first month of a loan so the season would be all but over by the time we could do so

We have a mega April coming, its nice to know we have people like Mutch, Kim, Joe, Mcphail, Kiss, Ralls who are playing in the Devl side, so they wont be match sharp like the first team, but not far off. So they can come in and do a job i believe.
We have Velikonja scoring in the Delv team too, i know theres alot of talk about him after he cost us money and is yet to see real first team action, but hes going to have some confidence as hes scoring, albeit at a lower level

You are correct. The loan is for a minimum of 28 days as its classed as an emergency loan.

Joe will get game time in April. Lots of games then and squad will be rotated
He's a good player.

Still rate Mason.. always makes some impact when he comes on and will take chances.

I don't under why Velikonja shouldn't be put on loan...

I think he will more than likely end up going out on loan to a championship club next season if we go up

Good. I don't think him or half the squad are good enough for the Prem. We need to get rid of the dead weights before bringing in quality.

Malky is taking no chances with our promotion push and quite right to that's what he is paid for.
Joe Mason's future plans are for the summer not now.
