And that is CCFC at its best because at its worst the heritage is one of falling down stadiums, small crowds and high court winding up orders.
I’ll admit that I did feel a touch of sadness on Tuesday night but it was nothing compared to the numerous sadness’s I have had when seeing this great club relegated to the dungeon divisions over the years.
Like so many others I have done the hard years now in the twilight of my life I would love to see Cardiff City finally establish itself as one of the top 5 clubs in the UK. That heritage is almost within touching distance and I’ll be dammed if I’ll let sentiment get in the way.

I live, breathe, CCFC, I'm a new fan, 5 years, but I fell in love with CCFC, the Bluebirds.
The feeling of us against them, etc.
I am a new fan as I said, I will be cheering the boys on at Wolves tomorrow, away trips are fantastic.
However if the Bluebird goes, I don't know if I will stay!
I wish I could get my feelings over, but I love the Bluebirds Cardiff City, but not this bleached down excuse of a fan base!

I want my Bluebird!
The feeling of us against them has nothing to do with blue. This is exactly what drew me to the bluebirds. My sons support the City and taking them to home games I also got the feeling of us against them but this was because very game is an international Wales against England.

Hiya mate! Alright? wrote:I've "put up" with the red rebrand as the price to pay for the stability and success of the club. Ive respected peoples views who wanted to stay blue and I've also repected peoples choice to reluctantly accept the red. I accecpt that VT saved us financially. But on Tues we felt the full force of the rebrand and it was horrific. Cardiff City as club was totally unrecognisable. I felt gutted, and for the first time realised the full scale of what is happening to us. Success? Yes, but at what price? they can dress the team as they would like them, they can dress a stadium as they want it, but when they try to dress fans as they want it, NO! Enough is enough!
I feel a strong change in opinion since Tues, many reluctant reds have been deeply affected and the tide has turned. They can give every one a "free" red scarf, but as long as there are still blues amongst them we still have an identity. I agree this is no time to disrup the team, so I would urge all fans who care to make a real point of taking blue scarves to every game. Whenever we sing "and it's Cardiff City" or "you'll never take my Cardiff away" to hold it up with pride in an action of pride, defiance, making a stand (call it however you feel), because as long as there are still blue scarfs in the crowd, our heritage lives on. I hope this small jesture grows, and escalates until we finally sea of blue in the stands. Remember that passion we used to have? Lets take it back!
Love peace and Cardiff City.

The point is, there is room for both, we can progress whilst still respecting our heritage. There is no need to wipe it all completely away. This is not a Blue vs Red, Us vs Them situation, there's room for both.

May be there is room for our hertiage (I assume you are talking about the Bluebird staying on the badge?) as well as a rebrand to boost our profile in the Far East.
Whoever is right is frankly imaterial because the only opinion that counts is VT's because he is the one paying the bills.

Hiya mate! Alright? wrote:I hope there's room for both Tony and it's never too late to influence VT.
There's an incorrect assumption that everyone who wants blue is stuck in the past and all reluctant reds are sell outs. Whatever your stance, we all want what a successful Cardiff City. It is possible to respect your heritage and progress and change for the future together. There has to be compromise. VT should be allowed to rebrand the clubs image for a more successful future, but not at the expense of a total elimination of its past. It's, colour and badges now, but it could get a lot worse if VT believes there is no objection what so ever. If done correctly, there's no problem what so ever with fans objecting to some changes.
Just for the record, I'm not anti VT, I'm not anti change, I'm not stuck in the past and I'm not 100% anti red. But I'm 100% behind making sure that our new successful brand embraces Cardiff City as a club, City and group of great fans when trying to appeal to a wider maybe world wide audience.
Ps: keep taking that blue scarf mate

Don't forget mind Tony that just because he is paying the bills does not give VT the right to anything and everything. You must also remember that us fans are also helping to pay the bills and therefore we have rights also.
