Don’t pay any attention to them as I thought they were already promoted in September and we were only vying for two remaining promotion places :o

On a serious note for any Jack posters on here - what has happened to your protests against the Americans did that go on the back burner because of the trust or cause you were doing so well?

Re: ‘ Jacks

Sun Dec 08, 2019 1:56 pm

They had a good start but were in a false position squad wise.
They will end up around 14th. If they are not careful they could even be in a relegation fight.

We had a poor start but have a good squad and will end up in the playoffs.

It's a marathon not a sprint and the best teams end up where they belong over a full season

Pity we couldn’t play them now.

Have a read of planet swans, its brilliant. They are calling for Cooper to go and that the team are the worst in years.

The big question is

Would you be happy for them to be the first team to do the double in a season if it meant they get relegated ?

stupid question! when we play them i hope they put out a new team a local team of under 16s in Cardiff where they will beat the shit out of the scum

They are back under their rock

Re: ‘ Jacks

Sun Dec 08, 2019 3:07 pm

As I said at the start of the season their whole club is small fry compared to us and come the end of the season we will be top 6 and they will be in the bottom half of the league. Just a shame our players put in such a disgrace of a performance down their place.

Re: ‘ Jacks

Sun Dec 08, 2019 3:27 pm

I think it might be a bit early to start bragging. We are 1 point above them, have recently lost to them, and there will be plenty of ups and downs to come between now and the end of the season. Jumping the gun can leave people looking a bit silly later on, and gives the opportunity for Roathie to come on here educating us all again.

Re: ‘ Jacks

Sun Dec 08, 2019 3:31 pm

I was listening to "call rob"the week after we lost to the jacks
Malcolm Allen former Welsh striker said, and I quote "Cardiff will finish above Swansea , at the end of the season"
I didn't believe him , but maybe he'll be right ?

Re: ‘ Jacks

Sun Dec 08, 2019 3:45 pm

Swansea are a better side than the final result of that game suggests. WBA are very good though and will win this league with room to spare. I see us and Swansea finishing mid table with not much in it. Either of us just might scrape a play off spot but neither of us are amongst the best 6 in this division. That said we're still in it having not played well for more than 15 minutes in any game this season.

That's how I see things. I don't think we are anything more than an average side, and I reckon a top ten finish is about as good as it will get for us this season. I don't think there is a lot to choose between us and Swansea, and we are both a long way behind WBA and Leeds. I think we will need a lot of luck going our way if we are to get into the top six. We only look like a mid table side at the moment.

Re: ‘ Jacks

They’ve got 2 home games this week which aren’t easy but expect them to win at least one whilst we’ve got two away fixtures where I’d be surprised if we get more than 1 point. They could be ahead of us on Saturday evening.

People on here really are underestimating how good we are.

We had an awful and Injury hit start of the season and yet we’re still not far off picking up the 10 points from each group of 6 games you need to be top 6. We had 8,9 then 8 again we already have 6 points from 2 games in this 4th group of 6 games. We will and always were going to be in the top 6 come the end of the season.

Jacks were inflated by having a magnificent start of 16 points from their first 6 games since then they have only picked up 14 points from their next 14 games. It just shows that they were always going to be a bottom half club. Anywhere from 18th up to 12th at best.

Why did we let Ajayi leave and keep Connelly, looked class and scores goals?

I know. Posts like this make us as bad as them. Can’t believe the hypocrisy sometimes.

Also going on about the protests being quiet when doing well? Like us and the rebrand then?

Calm down darling my post was merely asking why theyve gone quiet on here.
For most of this season theyve been vocal on here and are now quiet. Thats in no way "bragging"

It’s more the whole mind the gap and slating of the jacks en masse doing what we are slating them for.

But the point about protests is 100% valid.

agree about protests.. the time to protest is from the get go.. I don't understand this lets put it on the back burner to use in the future if things do not work out stuff..

Because we have been terrible at actually bringing through the players from our under 23s for ages now and instead let them go on frees and end up replacing them with inferior players. Ajayi, Oshilaja and Harris are the most recent examples of this but their are more as you go back down the past 10 years. Hopefully Ciaron Brown actually gets a chance for us soon or he will end up being the next one that we let go only to see him flourish elsewhere.

Name them? Name those that have flourished.

Ajayi was from Arsenal. Harris Wycombe.

Name actual Cardiff players from Cardiff’s academy who have left and flourished elsewhere as that is normally the point made not the under 23s. Oshilaja is hardly flourishing.

Well I’m reliably informed that if PNE get promoted this season then Andrew Hughes could become the 1st player to play in Conference south,The National league,League 2 League 1,The championship and then the premier league, would that be considered as flourishing?
