TO THE MALKY MACKAY HATERS CLUB

Thu Feb 13, 2014 6:39 pm

Notice ALOT of hate toward Malky on here since he got sacked.
where were all you Malky haters at the villa game??? and the Liverpool game???? and the others where we spent hours chanting his name emphatically. you seemed to have all crawled out of the woodwork and jumped on the we hate malky bandwagon, bought into Vincent tans mind games and turned your back on the most passionate, dedicated and successful manager in our recent history and possibly of all time. He had a howler with Cornelius, but he signed almost our whole f*cking squad, transformed the face of the club and got us promoted and before he left we were still above the danger zone with a transfer window he could have used to sure us up for the season. He put the spring back in our step after so many years of near misses and heart ache.
Were you at the games singing "don't sack Mackay" for hours on end?... and now you've changed your tune "his signings were shit, tans right, glad hes gone"... its because you cant see past your own f*cking nose, tan says jump and you say how high.

and don't throw all these shit stats at me I've seen too because the only stat that matter at the end of the year is how many points you've got and with a few points in between us and mid table guess what? everyone else got shit stats too.

IMO he did not spend the money wisely, over 30 mil on caulker, Medel and cornelius. When you take into account Ole spent 6 mil on Cala, Fabio, eikrem, Daelhi, Berget, jones and zaha.

Malky also wasted up to 10 mil on players including Velikonja, kiss, Brayford, odemwingie, Gestede, Maynard. Including cornelius that's over 20 mil on flops, imagine what Ole could of done with 20+ mil. Whereas I thank malky for getting us up and for the cup run, I think he was in over his head in the prem and struggled with the pressure of buying top qaulity players. The difference between Ole and malky is Ole can attract a much better calibre of player than malky and he knows how to spot a bargain and a good free transfer.

the majority of fans were relieved to see him go..
the problem isnt that people hate Malky, i dont, i just didnt like his style of football and he did a terrible job in the transfer market.
the problem lies with those like yourself that went overboard about him.....

In work mate earning a living.
Congratulations on not having to work Saturdays

An for the record nobody is hating on malky just saying he made major errors in the transfer market in the summer. Up until that point he was doing brilliant.

I've yet to see one player Ole has brought in that has improved the team one jot.not one of his signings is any better than is already there.

They never cost 10's of millions of pounds like was spent hardly improving our squad.

An if you think don cowie is a better winger then Zaha and Daelhi I'm just going to

Not many managers could come to Cardiff who had 9 players - get them to the Carling Cup Final & the Championship Playoffs in the first season - then in the second season secure promotion as champions after being top of the table since November

If you dismiss Malky as a 'shit manager' then you know no nothing about football

Well a few years ago Leicester spent 15mill and failed to get promoted, and it's taken them years to crack on from there, so it's not a given mate.

None are shitter? Is that supose to translate to, they are better? So zaha and jones aside what other of the 5 players have broke into the first team? (I'm excluding fabio because he got dropped against villa because he's wank).

Fukin hell fella, give the lads a chance to adapt to a new league they've only been here a few weeks  you can see Ole is easing the foreigners in slowly because they have no prem experience, whereas jones, Zaha, fabio have been thrown straight in. If you don't think that daelhi and eikrem are qaulity from the time we've seen then play then you don't know much about football. Did you see that goal Daelhi scored for the DVP, skinned the guy the buried it, cornflake couldn't take the skin off a banana.

With respect to Malkys transfers, Cornelius was obviously a disaster.
IMO, in today's transfer market, Caulker & Medal are priced correctly. Both excellent players with big sell on values that represent good business. Kiss was a decent championship squad player that did a decent job when brought in as was Gestede. Maynard was brought in to score goals in the championship & got long term injury a few games in. How can you call these players a waste of money?
Brayford was the best fullback in the championship & cost relatively little. Wasn't given a chance as KTC was brought in but still may play for us in the future. Do you think Fabio is better because I'm not so sure?
Yes Velikonja is a strange one with strong suggestions that he wasn't Malkys signing. Nobody seems to know.
As somebody else has said - which of OGS's players have performed better than we already have? Admitted I think a couple have potential for the future without doubt but it's now we need to stand up.

Just want to add I'm 100% behind Ole as I support my club not the manager.

Do people not realise Oles signings signed in a time which is hard to get top players, have had no pre season and have been required to hit the ground running. imagine what these players could of achieved with a full pre season with cardiff, they have showed qaulity already but need time.

I stated earlier that Medel would sell for 10+ mill but people did not agree. Whereas Medel is a good player I think Ole would of been able to find a cheaper player who was just as good, eikrem is a similar player to Medel and looks like he can do just as good of a job, the tackles and passing from him against villa were qaulity.

Malky had many flaws,And his decisions on the pitch frustrated me a hell of a lot.
But when I look back on his short tenure at Cardiff the happy memories far out weigh the bad ones.

I don't think the OP was criticising OGS's signings & I'm certainly not. We'll have to see how Fabio & Jones turn out because I'm not too impressed up till now. But everybody's allowed 1 or 2 flops!
I'm not too worried if Tan spends 8-10 mill each on Medal & Caulker who are the real deal now or Eikrem for whatever for the future. They're superb players & it ain't my money.

he signed 35 players.........

how many of those are certain starters if everyone is fit for our next league game?

certain to start.........Medel and Caulker..thats it 2

anyone that thinks that isnt shocking isnt thinking straight..

all the rest are maybees, squad players..after 30months,,50 odd million..and 35 signatures there should be a core

An if you think don cowie is a better winger then Zaha and Daelhi I'm just going to

spot on. Thats what some ppl cant grasp, ole has spent 6 mil on 7 players, none are shitter than malkys signings. And if people think zaha is not an improvement on cowie and conway then.they are cluessless.

I saw the goal, I agree they are good prospects. But we're talking about making an instant impact to starting 11 to keep us

Who do you expect him to buy In Jan on a budget who can hit the ground running and keep us up then? I can't think of any1 who was available at a good price that will not cripple our clubs finances. If you know any please enlighten us :thumbright:

where were all you Malky haters at the villa game??? and the Liverpool game???? and the others where we spent hours chanting his name emphatically. you seemed to have all crawled out of the woodwork and jumped on the we hate malky bandwagon, bought into Vincent tans mind games and turned your back on the most passionate, dedicated and successful manager in our recent history and possibly of all time. He had a howler with Cornelius, but he signed almost our whole f*cking squad, transformed the face of the club and got us promoted and before he left we were still above the danger zone with a transfer window he could have used to sure us up for the season. He put the spring back in our step after so many years of near misses and heart ache.
Were you at the games singing "don't sack Mackay" for hours on end?... and now you've changed your tune "his signings were shit, tans right, glad hes gone"... its because you cant see past your own f*cking nose, tan says jump and you say how high.

and don't throw all these shit stats at me I've seen too because the only stat that matter at the end of the year is how many points you've got and with a few points in between us and mid table guess what? everyone else got shit stats too.

even a shit manager from a shit club with a shit record could have got us promoted with that war chest........oh.that is what happened ......

Not many managers could come to Cardiff who had 9 players - get them to the Carling Cup Final & the Championship Playoffs in the first season - then in the second season secure promotion as champions after being top of the table since November

If you dismiss Malky as a 'shit manager' then you know no nothing about football

the 9 players lmao...still used 6 of them after signing 35......no he was great...beaut

Well a few years ago Leicester spent 15mill and failed to get promoted, and it's taken them years to crack on from there, so it's not a given mate.

more often than not..money works...........its at all levels as well

The guy's football drove me up the wall so much that if he was here for next season I wasn't going to renew.

Call me what you want but I was still gonna go to games but not many.. the drivel he called football was shocking.

A few would agree.

same here mate............from day one..5ft 7 centre foward and everyone else behind the ball hoofing it at him..........
and there are people that think it was difficult to get a team who are dab hand at doing that in the championship for 12 mil..
if we hadnt been so close so many times...he wouldnt have lasted 6 months...........
its the least enjoyable football in 40 odd years for me, and people stopped going away......home games were enough..1500 at burnley...........im convinced it would have been 6000 if people were enthused......

Same team, same set up..

I like the guy, speaks well and can't do no wrong.. but the brand of Football kept going on and on and Southampton was the final straw and kind of relieved the sacking did happen after everything going on.

I can deal with some dull performances but when it goes on and on then I am not forking out 200 quid to watch it.
