Much more chance of us struggling than top 6. Way too early for odds at the moment though. I think we'll surprise a few sides but ultimately finish mid table which Id be very happy with.

Agree, it's far too early.
But I'm not even thinking of top eight in terms of expectations.
If we can just stay mid table all season I'll be happy.

Top 8 this season for play offs , 20 quid at 16,s pays for my season ticket , ever the optimist but I honestly believe we won't be far off

Said early last season double promotion and with added teams in playoffs chances have been enhanced so stick with double promotion.

The bookies are looking at the facts. We have very little championship experience throughout the club, it's a very young sqaud with an idealist manager.
Lawlor could be anything but other than that, do we have 15 championship-level players
Championship (IMO) Trott, Bagan, NG, Roberston, Rubin, Salech, Osho
Hopefully Joel, Ashford, & Fish continue their improvement.
The others
Davies can't stay fit,
Robbo wouldn't get a championship contract anywhere else
Willock flatters to decieve at L1 this is a step too far
Tanner is so hit of miss and i am unsure he is a BBM tyoe winger
Chambers & Turnbull have struggled since their moves here,
Daland looked good, then terrible,
Do Kpackio & Mafico need a season away?
Big step up for King after a career-defining injury
Simic and Etete, I'll say no more
Seen nothing in Nyakuhwa to suggest a championship player
So to be competitive, we need at least 5 or 6 championship-ready players coming in. Not beyond the realms of possibility. I'll still have a fiver on promotion

That’s the same ‘bookies’ who had us pushing for the play-offs before the start of our last Championshio season!
How did that one go?

We were 80/1 at the start of the relegation season.
The season before, we were off an embargo, and 40/1.
As we all know, it was a slow-motion car crash due to the club's direction.
If I were an independent odds compiler, I would have seen Wintle and Kellymen leave with no indication that the club is going to be serious this season.
What i find strange is that Bolton and us are 66/1 (Paddy Power) with Lincoln @ 150/1.
9/4 for West Ham to go up as champions must be one of the worst values of all time. It's not a happy club, and as we know, that matters

The transfer window isn't even open yet so now would be the time to have a small flutter if you were so inclined.

According to BettingLounge, Cardiff are priced at 10/1 to finish in the
Championship play-off

I am waiting for the top 8 or 10 odds to come out as that looks the most hopeful.
What surprised me is we are third from the bottom of Paddy Power's champions list, but rose a fair few into the middle places for promotion (14/1)
