I've long been a supporter of Rambo but he's delulu if he thinks he's playing for a few more years with his injury issues the last 2 years.

So his priority is to play for wales and therefore its not a priority to play for. Cardiff. Hmmm

That's not what he said in any way shape or form. He was asked about coaching/managing Cardiff, not about playing for us. Most seem to want him gone anyway so there's that.

Buckingham would make sense and be a good appointment.

But sense and our owner don't go together.

I would not sign Ramsey as a player again, he’s finished week in week out.

Played 8 games this season and 12 last season, mainly as a Sub or hardly completed a game.

League and Cup games we had 99 in 2 seasons, Ramsey completed NO More than 8 games.

I get that he wants to play and that, like Bale, he wants to keep his Wales career going for as long as possible.

But, in Division 1, the quality of players is not going to be the same as the Championship and there is always the danger of being kicked off the pitch.

Correct Paul,

Ramsey will also be to scared to get stuck in as he’s like glass now and won’t want to get injured every month.

ITS A BIG NO FROM ME AS PLAYER OR MANAGER

For me, it's out of 3 Ramsey, Nathan Jones or Steve Cooper, they will get us back up and build a solid side going forward.

Realistically who is going to sign Ramsey with his injury record?
I'd like to see him sign on a pay as you play basis whilst being involved in the coaching side of things to some capacity

I think we should try & keep him on a much reduced wage & as a player/coach to learn the management alongside an experienced manager, but if he won't go for anything like that then good luck to him wherever he goes. That's a lot of things to fall perfectly so I expect him to go somewhere else to try & get himself fit & hopefully he doesn't hurt himself permanently while trying.

Nathan Jones signed a long-term contract with Charlton Athletic in February 2024. The contract extends until 2028. Jones was appointed as the club's men's first-team manager in February 2024, marking his return to the club where he previously served as the U21s Lead Coach in 2012-13.
