Wilfried Zaha now 2/7-on to join Cardiff

Manchester United forward Wilfried Zaha has been installed as a cut-price favourite to leave Old Trafford for Cardiff City, following reports that the England international exchanged furious words with David Moyes over a proposed loan move earlier this week.

Zaha has featured just twice in the Premier League for United since completing a £15m switch from Crystal Palace last summer, fuelling speculation that the Red Devils will allow the winger to leave on loan in search of regular first-team opportunities this month.

The ex-Eagles talisman is reported to have been involved in a training-ground bust-up in his efforts to force through a short-term switch, with Moyes still undecided on allowing the youngster to leave Old Trafford for the rest of the campaign.

The 21-year-old is now just 2/7-on with SkyBet to join former United striker Ole Gunner Solskjaer at Cardiff City before the transfer window, with the Bluebirds viewed as overwhelming favourites to make Zaha their latest signing.

Newcastle United have already launched one enquiry for Zaha this season but are now a distant second favourite at 6/1 to bring the starlet St James' Park.

Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion are even further back at 12/1 and 16/1 respectively, while a dream reunion with Palace is also rated at 16's despite persistent claims that any chance of a second spell at Selhurst Park.
